This is the new Lampard 8 Chelsea Home Shirt 2010-11. The Chelsea Home Shirt has a brand new design for the 2010-11 Premier League season. It also will be worn for F.A Cup, Carling Cup and Champions League matches. The shirt is in the traditional blue colour with white details. There are white Adidas stripes down both sleeves, a new white and red trim v-neck collar with embroidered Chelsea crest and Adidas logo and Samsung sponsor logo. The main body of the shirt integrates mesh into the fabric creating a striking design with pure performance benefits for removing sweat away from the body. There is a Climacool logo at the bottom with a hologram logo opposite to show the shirt authenticity. This is not the first time red has featured on a Chelsea kit. In 1953, Chelsea re-launched the official club badge and for the first time featured red. By 1959, red was introduced into the kit socks, and the colour has continued to feature in numerous home and away kits in subsequent decades.
