New York Cosmos 1976 Away Vintage Shirt

The New York Cosmos 1976 Away Vintage Shirt is a brand new design for 2011. The shirt pays tribute to the 1976 Jersey worn by the legendary Pele. It is green in colour with white details. There is a printed Cosmos club crest and stitched No.10 on the front. It is made from 100% cotton, has a short sleeved design and round neck collar. The shirt comes with Pele 10 stitched on the back. The Cosmos signed Brazilian star Pele, whom they had attempted to sign since the Cosmos was created. Pele joined in 1975 on a salary of $1.4 million per year, an enormous wage for that time, equal to about $6 million in 2011.The New York Cosmos have returned. To celebrate the club's return, Umbro has applied its Football tailoring design to their brand Football Shirts, training wear and fashion range. The New York Cosmos 1976 Away Vintage Shirt is an official product manufactured by Umbro under an licence for New York Cosmos.
