South Africa Home Football Shirt 2012-13

The South Africa Home Football Shirt has a brand new stylish design for 2012-13 and is now being manufactured by Puma. Puma acquired the design skills of local African artists from 10 African Federations to design a shirt reflecting their nation. The shirt is designed in the traditional yellow and green colour scheme with a rainbow logo at the bottom of shirt. This is reference to the phrase and Nickname 'Rainbow Nation' coined by Archbishop Desmond Tutu. This shirt is designed to offer a tight fit and features Puma's USP Moisture Management which allows air to move around the shirt, reducing body temperature aiding performance. There is a printed South African national crest and Football Federation logo either side the Puma logo. This new shirt will be worn throughout the 2012-13 international season by the Bafana Bafana squad that includes Steven Pienaar and up to the 2013 African Nations Cup which will be held in South Africa. As of 2013, the tournament will switch to being held in odd-numbered years so that it does not clash with the World Cup. The South Africa Home Football Shirt is an official product manufactured specifically for the South African national team under licence.
