2010 was a historic year for the Slovakia national soccer team. For the first time ever, the soccer collective managed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup a tournament that doubled as the second time that the white and blue hues of the Slovakia football shirts had appeared in an international tournament of any sort (with the first being the 2000 Summer Olympics). Unfortunately, the team was not able to repeat the feat this year, and will therefore not have a presence at this summer's World Cup.
However, Slovakia is still fighting for more international recognition, and that will start with a push for qualification at FIFA's 2016 European Championship. As Slovakia prepares to fight for a Euro 2016 berth, the Soccer Box store is already ready for it. We have stock available of the Slovakia home jersey 2014 2015, one of the shirts that the Slovakia team will wear in its qualification campaign.
These new Slovakia football shirts have the look of a team ready to break through to global recognition - - June 11, 2014
The Turkey national soccer team has an interesting history at the World Cup. Of the 19 World Cup tournaments on the books, the red and white colors of the Turkey football shirt have only made two appearances. The first of those came in 1954, when the Turkish team was eliminated in the first round of its inaugural tournament appearance. The second occurred in 2002, when Turkey somewhat inexplicably made it to the semifinals and came in third place, toppling some major soccer heavyweights along the way.
Unfortunately for fans of the Turkey national team, there won't be an opportunity for similar upsets at this summer's World Cup in Brazil. Turkey continued its streak of missed qualifications and will not be appearing at all in the World Cup. However, the team is already preparing for its next phase, which is the qualification for the 2016 European Championships in France. In fact, the Turkey home jersey 2014 2015 that player's will wear for that campaign is already available at the Soccer - - June 11, 2014
When Mesut Ozil transferred from Real Madrid to Arsenal in 2013, he commanded a fee of £42.5m that officially made him the most highly paid German soccer player of all time. Clearly, the English club saw immense value in the 25-year-old attacking
midfielder, and that value is expected to be on full display this summer as Ozil takes the pitch in Brazil for his second World Cup appearance. The German team is currently ranked number two in the world by FIFA, behind 2010 World Cup champs Spain, so fans will be wearing team gear like the Ozil 8 Germany 2014 World Cup home jersey in hopes that they can push the German team to a fourth World Cup victory.
Soccer Box has numerous Germany football shirts available for purchase, including the aforementioned Mesut Ozil home kit. The jersey bears the basic German home kit design, including the angular red stripe on the front, the white and black color scheme, and the Adidas ClimaCool craftsmanship. Back at the 1998 World Cup, Samuel Eto'o joined the Cameroon national soccer team as the youngest player in the entire tournament. Fast forward 16 years and that 17-year-old novice has turned into a 33-year-old veteran of the sport. When the striker takes to the pitch at this year's World Cup in Brazil, wearing the Eto'o 9 Cameroon 2014 World Cup home jersey for group
stage matches against Brazil and Croatia as well as an away shirt for Cameroon's first tournament match, against Mexico he will have officially played at four World Cup events.
That impressive statistic will help further establish Eto'o as one of the greatest and most famous players to ever wear the yellow and green colors of the Cameroon football shirts as if his status as the team's all-time leading goal scorer had not done that already. It will also be one of the big narratives playing in Cameroon's favor at the World Cup, and could give the team the momentum it needs to get past the group stage. The Switzerland football shirt will be marking its 10th official World Cup appearance this summer in Brazil, a milestone that fans are hoping will light a fire and push the team to its best performance in years. In the early days of the World Cup,
Switzerland was a near-permanent fixture in the event's quarterfinals, but a dry spell in the latter part of the 20th century left the team as an also-ran as other early contenders won titles and achieved global soccer success.
Now, however, Switzerland has managed to achieve three consecutive World Cup qualifications for the first time since the 1950s, and the team seems determined to improve its fortunes at the world's biggest soccer tournament. That much is evident from the Switzerland 2014 FIFA World Cup home jersey, a stunning Puma jersey that looks plain red at first glance, but which boasts a subtle patterning of the iconic Swiss cross across the chest. You can find the jersey as well as a small selection of other Switzerland team merchandise - - June 07, 2014
It's going to be a big summer for fans of the Brazil national football team. Not only is Brazil hosting the World Cup this year for the first time since 1950, no less but this summer also could be Brazil's shot at securing an unprecedented sixth World Cup title. If that is going to happen, then it will be partially because of Neymar da Silva Santos Junior, or Neymar, one of Brazil's strongest players and a firm fixture on the country's squad for the World Cup. In fact, Neymar is so big that the Neymar 10 Brazil 2014 World Cup home jersey has become an incredibly popular product at Soccer Box.
That's right: interspersed with a more standard collection of Brazil football shirts this year are jerseys and shirts meant to support Neymar specifically. The winger/forward is only 22 years old, but his jersey will undoubtedly be worn by hundreds of thousands of Brazilian soccer fans this summer if not millions.
