Since the inaugural CONCACAF Gold Cup in 1991, the Mexico national football team has won the event six times-more than any other country. With the 2015 Gold Cup, the Mexican side will look to reclaim the Gold Cup title after watching the United States win it 2013. Before Mexico can think much about a seventh CONCACAF Gold Cup title, though, they will have to get through the group stage. This year, Mexico has been drawn into the CONCACAF Gold Cup Group C-which also includes Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, and Cuba. Other tournament frontrunners, meanwhile-like the United States and Costa Rica-are in groups A and B, respectively.
Analyzing Group C: Who Will Progress and Who Will Go Home?Â
Just looking at Group C's teams on paper, it doesn't look like Mexico will - June 25, 2015

The 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup: Setting the State
Most of the world's national football teams have seen at least a little bit of competitive action in the past 12 months. Germany, England, Spain and the rest of Europe have been doing battle in pursuit of qualification for the 2016 European Championship, while Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, and other South American teams are currently embroiled - June 24, 2015
2014 2015 was a weird season at Aston Villa. On the one hand, the Claret and Blue made it all the way to the finals of the FA Cup before losing to Arsenal. On the other hand, they fell to 17th place on the Premier League standings table, just narrowly avoiding relegation to the Football League Championship. Needless to say, the Lions will need some extra firepower on the field if they are going to have a brighter 2015 2016 campaign. It was recently announced that Aston Villa sign Micah Richards, this is a step that shows that the soccer club might just be taking the right steps to add the needed strength to the squad.
Micah's Manchester City History
Richards, a defender from Manchester City, is the first big signing for Villa Park this summer. The Birmingham-born footballer has been signed with the Sky Blues for his entire career, rising up through the football club's youth program before joining the senior squad - June 24, 2015

The 2014 2015 season was AC Milan's worst since 1997 1998, ending in a 10th place finish in the Italian Serie A. Unsurprisingly, the poor performance led to the sacking of coach Filippo Inzaghi, who just took over the reigns at San Siro a year ago. Last week it was announced that Sinisa Mihajlovic had been appointed as manager. With Sinisa Mihajlovic appointed AC Milan manager he will take over Inzaghi's position with the goal of rebuilding the club to its former levels of glory.
Will he be able to do that? It's too early to make any sort of call, but Sinisa Mihajlovic is at the very least an interesting hire for the Red and Blacks. This past season, he coached Sampdoria to a seventh place finish in the Serie A. The year before, in his first season at the club, Sampdoria had only finished in 12th place. The team's improvement under Mihajlovic's guidance was evident. Sampdoria will even participate in the 2015 2016 Europa League-a tournament - June 23, 2015
The Brazil national football team is on track to contend for its ninth Copa America title. The big news story of the moment is that Brazil top Copa America 2015 Group C, in doing this they have qualified for a slot in the knockout stages. Surprisingly, though, the Brazilians didn't sail to easy victory, in fact they didn't even win every group stage game, Brazil suffered one loss-against Colombia.
A Growing Rivalry
The rivalry between Brazil and Colombia has become increasingly heated since last summer's World Cup. Historically, this rivalry-if you could even call it that-has been remarkably one-sided, with the Brazilian side walking away with 18 wins in 28 fixtures (and draws in most of the others). But last summer's quarterfinal World Cup match between these two football teams got ugly.
A little background info: Colombia had the breakout star of the 2014 World Cup tournament in James Rodriguez, who ultimately won - June 23, 2015
To call the International Champions Cup a prestigious soccer tournament would be a bit of a stretch. After all, the event will only mark its third year in 2015. It also takes place during the summer months, and is labeled as "friendly" tournament rather than as a competitive one. Still, the Champions Cup is cool for how it brings high-profile football clubs to the stadiums of the United States and Canada. Last year the Red Devils won, but can Manchester United defend International Champions Cup title this summer?
North America has typically been much less into soccer than the rest of the world, but the International Champions Cup seems to be changing that. For instance, last year 109,318 people filed into the Big House in Ann Arbor, Michigan-the home of the University of Michigan Wolverines-to see a battle between Manchester United and Real Madrid. It was the highest attendance ever for a soccer fixture in the United States, and while the proximity to the World Cup definitely drove - June 22, 2015
A day after sealing their fifth UEFA Champions League title and their second-ever treble, FC Barcelona celebrated by announcing the signing of Aleix Vidal from Sevilla FC. But who is Vidal? We find out all the facts in this Aleix Vidal player profile. Keep reading to find out more about Barca's newest team member.
Vidal, a 25-year-old winger standing at five feet, nine inches, will join Barca for the 2015 2016 season. Unfortunately, Vidal won't get to don the Barcelona home shirt 2015 2016 (for competitive play, at least) until January, due to a transfer ban that Barcelona received from FIFA. (Barca got in trouble for signing underage foreign players last season.) Still, Barca fans are already analyzing the skills and history of Vidal, and wondering how he might mesh with a soccer squad that was nearly perfect in 2014 2015.

Despite the fact that he is still relatively young, Aleix Vidal has many, many - June 22, 2015
New Balance is taking over the role of kit manufacturer for Liverpool FC this year after years of letting their subsidiary Warrior Sports handle the job. Based on what we have seen so far of Liverpool's 2015 2016 gear, it seems as though these two entities could have been working with one another for years. While the 2015 2016 home shirt more or less maintains the traditional red design we've seen from this football club in the past, the new goalkeeper jersey was a breath of fresh air, offering a sleek and modern black and red design that will surely look fantastic on the football pitch next season. And now with the launch of the Liverpool training kit 2015 - 2016 we can see even more design flair.
With the arrival of the Liverpool red training top 2015 2016 (as well as other training gear for next year), we are even more excited about New Balance stepping into the kit manufacturer role. Where last year's practice jerseys were essentially plain black and red shirts, this year's warm-up - June 21, 2015
Throughout the 2014 2015 football season, en route to a third consecutive victory in the German Bundesliga, the players of Bayern Munich wore a distinctive red and blue striped jersey in their home games. For the 2015 2016 season, though, the football club's style is changing noticeably. The day before the end of the 2014 2015 campaign, Adidas launched a brand new Bayern Munich home kit 2015 - 2016, and it's a distinct change of pace from the 2014 2015 version.
Indeed, the brand new Bayern Munich home kit for the 2015 - 2016 season largely returns to the subtler design that Bayern had during the 2012 2013 and 2013 2014 seasons. Those jerseys were red with white detailing around the neck, sleeves, and shoulders. The new home shirt boasts a similar red color, but replaces the white Adidas striping and detailing with darker red around the sleeves, hem, and crewneck. Meanwhile, the club name spans - June 21, 2015
For most players on the soccer pitch, the shoes are the most important piece of equipment. Choosing the right pair of football boots can affect a player's ability to run with speed, to change direction quickly, to pass the ball, or to take accurate shots at the goal. For a goalkeeper, though, while football boots remain
important, choosing goalkeeper gloves is more pivotal. Ideally, a good pair of goalkeeper gloves will provide extra grip on the soccer ball and protection for the keeper's hands. With these two bases covered, a goalkeeper will be more effective at catching, stopping, blocking, deflecting, or punching incoming shots.
So how can you know which goalkeeper glove styles are good and which ones are just okay? How can you
