When Joe Hart won the Premier League's Golden Glove award this past season, he officially became the most decorated player in the award's history. Granted, the Golden Glove prize has only been around since the 2004 2005 season-when Petr Cech won it for a 21-clean sheet season. But while Cech has won the award twice more since then, Hart's 2014 2015 season brought him his fourth Premier League Golden Glove and gave him arguable bragging rights as the soccer division's greatest goalkeeper.
From Second Choice to Best
Standing at six feet, five inches, the 28-year-old Hart certainly cuts a dominating figure in the net. He's been signed with Manchester City for nine years this fall, and has made a nice round 300 appearances for the football club in that time. That number would be higher, were in not for the loan stints Hart served with the Tranmere Rovers and Blackpool (in 2006 2007) and Birmingham City (in 2009 2010).

Qualifying play for the 2016 UEFA European Championship won't continue until early September, leaving the 53 international teams vying for qualification in a weird sort of limbo as they await the next game. In the meantime, we've been going through and taking a look at the various groups in this year's Qualifying Competition, looking at everything from wins to goal difference in an attempt to determine which soccer squads will be contending at next year's Euro tournament in France. Today, Euro 2016 qualifying Group H is up.
The Teams
Group H, like most of the other groups that make up the Euro 2016 Qualifying Competition, is comprised of six different national football teams. These include-in the order of current standings-Croatia, Italy, Norway, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, and Malta.
Before the qualifiers even began, Italy and Croatia were flagged as the teams from Group H most likely to progress to the actual Euro 2016 - July 25, 2015
Will Cristiano Ronaldo win a second consecutive UEFA Best Player in Europe Award? Will Lionel Messi reclaim the prize, after missing out on the final round of voting last year? These are some of the questions on the minds of football fans in the wake of the announcement of shortlisted players for the UEFA Best Player in Europe award 2014 - 2015. On July 15th, the European soccer organization revealed the top 10 vote-getters from their initial poll, asking for the best player in Europe. These 10 football players will now compete for votes once more, with the top three progressing to the final round of voting.
The shortlist is a mix between the usual suspects (Ronaldo, Messi, the rest of Barcelona's remarkable frontline, etc.) and a few unexpected turns-like the nomination of five players from Juventus, a team that didn't land a single footballer in the top 10 last year, or the year before. Read on for a full list of the nominees, organized by soccer league. - July 25, 2015
Though Liverpool has never been a club known for wearing "out there" football kits, there's something refreshingly back to basics about the 2015 2016 kit from New Balance. Back in June, we got our first glimpse of the company's football kit work with the unveiling of the red 2015 2016 home jersey. Now, with the reveal of the traditional Liverpool away jersey 2015 2016-as well as the midnight black third jersey-we've officially seen Liverpool's full wardrobe for the upcoming season.
Instantly Likable
While the 2015 2016 Liverpool away kit is certainly simplistic-and not flashy in the slightest-it's hard not to like the shirt. A predominantly white kit with red trim and detailing, the New Balance design effortlessly captures the color and style that have always been iconic of Liverpool - July 24, 201524th July 2015
Last year, Real Madrid's away jersey was one of the most eye-catching uniforms of any football team, a vibrant pink design that stood as a thoroughly unique entry in the club's ever-changing away shirt series. This year, the Vikings have gone a completely different route with the Real Madrid away kit 2015 - 2016, opting for a muted silver-gray design with fluorescent yellow striping. Real Madrid officially launched the new kit in June, and the design is now available for purchase on the Soccer Box website.
Silver Glory
According to Real Madrid's website, the choice to use silver-gray as the color for this year's away shirt wasnot a random one. Instead, the color of the new jerseys - July 24, 2015
Arsenal are going for the gold-literally. On July 14th, the Gunners unveiled their new Arsenal away kit 2015 - 2016 -a brash blue and gold design that reflects the football club's desire to finally win a Premier League title. The jersey is a departure from 2014 2015's yellow and blue away shirt, but it doesn't lose the charm that that Puma jersey had.
In fact, the overall design of the Arsenal away jersey 2015 2016 isn't too far off from the away shirts that the Gunners were wearing last season. The sleeves and shoulders of the shirt are still navy blue, Arsenal's red crest still appears in the same spot on the kit, and the Fly Emirates logo is still displayed prominently in the center of the jersey.
The biggest shift is in color, trading the bright yellow of the 2014 2015 away kit for a shimmering gold hue. To keep the shirt from looking too theatrical, kit manufacturer Puma gave the gold parts of the jersey a striking argyle diamond patterning. The result is an away jersey - July 23, 2015
Last year's Inter Milan away jersey was a break with tradition, trading the white, black, and blue design of past away kits for a white shirt with light grey striping and red detailing. If the goal was to establish a new look for a new era of Internazionale prosperity, that mission was ultimately a failure. The Black and Blues stumbled to an eighth place finish on the 2014 2015 Italian Serie A table. They still edged out their crosstown rivals, AC Milan, by two slots, but the result was a far cry from the five-year winning streak that the Black and Blues enjoyed from 2006 to 2010. Is the Inter Milan away kit 2015 - 2016 a lucky charm for the upcoming Serie A season?
Unsurprisingly, for the Inter Milan away jersey 2015 2016, kit manufacturer Nike has decided to revert to a more classic design. Ditching the red style of the 2014 2015 shirt, Nike and Inter Milan have opted instead for a white jersey that matches better with Internazionale's traditional away kits of football seasons - July 23, 2015
Olympiacos may not be as widely regarded as the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Juventus, or other clubs that have dominated their countries' professional football circuit for many years at a time. With that said, the Greek soccer club is certainly one worth admiring. Find out more about their dominant history in this Olympiacos team profile.

FC Barcelona was the best football club in the world last season, sweeping Spain's La Liga and Copa del Rey trophies, clinching the UEFA Champions League, and uniting an offensive trip (Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Luis Suarez) that is surely one for the history books. Still, in spite of the success, a few things were up in the air this summer concerning the future of the soccer club-namely whether or not manager Luis Enrique would be back for another season, and whether or not President Josep Maria Bartomeu would retain his post.
Now, it's clear that Barca are going with the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality for the 2015 2016 season. Enrique got a contract extension back in June, and on Saturday, July 18th, Bartomeu won re-election to remain the football club's president.
Re-Election - July 22, 2015
Sunday, July 12th brought not one, but two Manchester United transfers for 2015, this is exciting news for fans. But what roles will these two footballers play at Old Trafford, and will they be the answers to recent Red Devils woes?
