The question on many football fans this week has been: Could Jurgen Klopp replace Brendan Rodgers as manager at Liverpool? But how has this situation arisen? Not too long ago, soccer fans and media sources alike were singing Brendan Rodgers' praises. The Irish football manager, who took over as the head coach at Liverpool FC in 2012, nearly led the club to their first title since 1990 during the 2013 2014 campaign. A 0-2 loss in a key late-season match against Chelsea gave Manchester City the opening they needed to take the lead, and Liverpool finished in second, but Rodgers' Reds still had plenty of promise. By all accounts, 2014 2015 should have been a huge year for the soccer club.
And then, somehow, it wasn't. Between a departed Luis Suarez, an injured Daniel Sturridge, an aging Steven Gerrard, and an unprofessional Raheem Sterling, the Reds simply couldn't get it together during the 2014 2015 campaign. They ended the season in sixth place, and suddenly Brendan Rodgers' future - October 03, 2015
Emboldened, perhaps, by his club's recent ascension to the top of the English Premier League, Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal said that the Red Devils had a "realistic" chance of winning the Champions League by 2017. The Dutchman wouldn't go as far as to predict a UCL victory for this team this year though. The Red Devils did get one step closer to that goal as Manchester United grab Champions League win against Wolfsburg last Wednesday at Old Trafford.
A Long-Awaited Champions League Win
Manchester United's last win of the 2013 2014 Champions League took place on March 19th, 2014, with a 3-0 triumph against Olympiacos. 560 days later, they beat Wolfsburg to end their lengthy drought of wins at Europe's most prestigious club - October 03, 2015
Could the Blackburn Rovers get relegated down to the third tier of English football this season? The club hasn't suffered that unsavory fate since finishing 22nd in Division Two all the way back in 1979, and even then, they only spent one season in Division Three before earning promotion once more. In total, the Rovers have spent just five seasons in the third tier in their entire 140 years of existence. However, this season it looks like Division Three (also known now as the Football League One) could be Blackburn's punishment if they don't pick things up soon. It's been a disastrous start for Blackburn Rovers in the 2015 2016 Championship campaign; they have only managed a single victory in their first nine games.

Could the Glasgow Rangers finally return to the Scottish Premier League in the 2016 2017 season? Based on the start of the Glasgow Rangers 2015 - 2016 season in theScottish Championship, it's certainly looking that way.
The Rangers have been dynamite this season-to the point where some expert football analysts might just be ready to call the Scottish Championship in their favor already. Glasgow have won all eight games they've played so far this fall. Considering the 36-match length of an annual Scottish Championship campaign, that statistic means that the Teddy Bears are more than one-fifth of the way to a perfect season and promotion up into the top-flight of Scotland's football system.

In what was one of the most highly anticipated matches of the entire 2015 2016 Champions League group stage, and Juventus beat Sevilla 2-0 to establish a clear lead in Group D. The fixture was significant as a match-up between two football clubs that excelled particularly well in UEFA competitions last season. Juventus, of course, went all the way to the UCL finals, though they ultimately lost the tournament to FC Barcelona. Sevilla, meanwhile, beat Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk to clinch their second consecutive Europa League title.
The Struggle of Juventus
Normally, Juventus would have been the favorite not just to win this particular match, but also to top Group D period. In fact, initial predictions for the group stage questioned whether or not Sevilla would even advance to the knockout rounds. After all, Group D also includes Manchester City, who have been one of England's most powerful soccer clubs in recent years.

Are FC Barcelona out of the 2015 2016 La Liga title race? Any such prediction is admittedly extreme, considering the club's relatively strong season start and their utterly dominant 2014 2015 campaign. However, Barca did suffer arguably the biggest blow possible this past weekend, when Lionel Messi exited a match after just 10 minutes with an injury. According to FC Barcelona's website, Messi has suffered "a tear in the medial collateral ligament of his left knee" with the subsequent news of Lionel Messi out for 7-8 weeks of play.
A Crisis for Barcelona
It goes without saying that any soccer club would suffer from losing their star player for two months. Barcelona is no different: Messi scored 43 goals in La Liga play last season and 58 overall. He was instrumental in - October 01, 2015
Last weekend saw Manchester United top the EPL table 2015 - 2016, but it's been a hard slog to get there. Not too long ago, Manchester United were the de facto frontrunners in the English Premier League each year. Just as Bayern Munich dominate the German Bundesliga with an iron fist, Manchester United won the EPL 13 times between 1993 and 2013. Then, just as quickly as the Vikings had come to be the dominating force in English football, they seemed to vacate that position. In the 2013 2014 season, the football squad tumbled to a seventh place finish on the league standings table. It was the worst finish since 1990 for England's most consistently great soccer club.
Fast-forward to now, and it seems Manchester United might finally be ready to reclaim the top spot. After a solid 2014 2015 campaign-which netted the Red Devils a fourth place finish in the Premier League and returned them to the
