With the 2014 World Cup officially on the books, soccer players and fans around the world are taking a well-deserved break. However, this brief hiatus is little more than the deep breath before the plunge, and before most of us realize, league play will be 
back in session around the globe. One team to watch this fall is AFC Ajax, last year's season winners in the Dutch Eredivisie division. Team captain and center back Nicklas Moisander is expected to return, as are Holland World Cup team members like Jasper Cillessen (goalkeeper) and Joel Veltman (center back).

Undoubtedly, Blind is a real up-and-comer, and Ajax will want to hold on to him as he continues to improve. However, rumors have emerged that Blind may be entertaining the idea of moving to Manchester United. Dutch coach Louis van Gaal recently took over the reigns at United, and he wants Blind as part of his squad.
