With the last remaining places of the World Cup now filled we know for sure who is going to be taking part in the World Cup 2014.

Next year's tournament is going to be a close one with so many good soccer teams taking part.

Just to name a few we know that Germany, England, Italy, France, Spain and Brazil will all definitely be there but we are also going to see the danger man that is Lionel Messi in the Argentina home soccer jersey.

The Argentinian squad has some of the most skilful players in football today but Barcelona's Lionel Messi will be one of the main men to put the fear into the oppositions boots next year.

Everybody knows that the 4 time Ballon D'or winner will be scoring a few goals in the new Argentina soccer jersey.

Messi has scored a total of 223 goals in 257 domestic appearances for Barcelona which automatically tells you how talented he is.

He will be looking forward to playing in the Cup next year and helping his team win the trophy when he puts on his Argentina soccer jersey.

Along with Messi there are some other amazing players such as Sergio Kun Aguero who plays his club football for Manchester City.

The Argentinian has had an outstanding season so far with 10 goals and is currently topping the leaderboard of goalscorers.

Also in contention for a first team place is Real Madrid's Angel Di Maria, Gonzalo Higuain, Pablo Zabaleta and many more.

Argentina have not won the World Cup since 1986 having been beaten by France, Italy, Spain, Germany and Brazil each time after that year.

Hopefully the new Argentina 2014 FIFA World Cup home soccer jersey will bring them luck in the New Year and help them towards those finals.

Adidas revealed the design of the new Argentina home kit in November and what a great job they have done of it.

The new soccer jersey for the Argentinians looks magnificent; it has been designed in the classic light blue and white but with a slight twist.

The main background of the shirt is white and there are blue vertical stripes which appear to turn darker as you get further down.

The Adidas three stripes on the sleeves come in navy blue as opposed to last the last design when Adidas styled them in white.

Like last year's Argentina soccer jersey, this new release sports the small gold details which make the big difference.

You will see these on the national badge which adds a great contrast to the shirt and down the side of the jersey.

Not the shirt itself but the Argentina kit as a whole caused quite a stir with the soccer fans particularly the shorts,

this was no fault of Adidas' though it was FIFA's decision to change the rules so that teams did not end up clashing in the World Cup next year.

So next year this means that along with the nice New Jersey you can see on the picture at the top of the page they will be wearing white shorts and white socks with small light blue detail.

Argentina usually wear black shorts with their kits so this did not go down great with Argentinian fans.

Even though the design and appearance has caused some slight issues there is no doubting Adidas have put their all in to their famous and helpful technologies.

It features their trademark Adidas Climacool technology which is a special fabric which helps to keep you cool and dry by wicking away any unwanted moisture.

FIFA want there to be no confusion with the teams and have advised kit manufacturers on the colours they want the players kits designed in.

For example in next year's competition Spain will be playing in an all red kit from head to toe which features a tiny amount of gold detail.

We are all so used to seeing Spain play in their red and yellow kits it will be strange to see them defending their World title in a different colour.

Then we have Germany, for the first time ever they are going to be donning an all-white kit.

Brazil's new kit has been revealed by Nike and they keep their yellow shirt like last year's but this time with a thinner green Y-neck collar.

The shorts are kept blue with small white detail and the socks are mainly white with a green Nike logo.

This new kit seems to don much less of the green used in last year's.

There has always been a close battle between the Nike and Adidas soccer jersey.

Nike are an American based sports brand while Adidas are from Germany.

The two brands are neck and neck in shirt sales with Nike having the Manchester United shirts as their top seller and Adidas with Real Madrid.
