On Saturday, February 7th, Arsenal football club lost 1-2 in an away game at Tottenham Hotspur. The loss was enough to drop the Gunners out of the 2014 2015 Premier League, with the Spurs taking their place. Luckily for Arsenal, though, they didn't have to wait long to reclaim their position. With a win over Leicester City on Wednesday the 10th, the wearers of the Arsenal new kit leaped back into the top five. Hotspur, meanwhile, lost 2-3 in an away game with Liverpool, dropping to seventh in the division standings. My what a difference a few days can make!

Tottenham Hotspur
Prior to the loss with Tottenham, it looked as if the Arsenal football club was in the midst of a steady climb to the top of the 2014 2015 Premier League. Since the start of December, the soccer team had only lost two games: a December 6th away fixture against Stoke City, and a New Year's Day away match at Southampton.
In between, they'd picked up big wins over everyone from Newcastle United to Manchester City. And even their losses had a silver lining: the away losses against Southampton and Stoke were coupled with at-home wins against both teams.
Needless to say, fans in the Arsenal new kit were feeling pretty confident about their team's performance by the time the away match with the Spurs rolled around. Hotspur made full use of the home field advantage, though, and came out on top 2-1.
Leicester City
Fortunately, another turn in the tides was on the way for the Gunners. Just days after their loss to Tottenham, players traded the Arsenal away shirt 2014 2015 for the red home kit. The result of the trade was a positive one.
Arsenal did most of the legwork during the first half of the match. At the 27-minute mark, Mesut Ozil passed an assist to defender Laurent Koscielny for a goal. 14 minutes later, attacker Theo Walcott scored a second goal to give the Gunners a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.
Leicester put up more of a fight in the second half, holding the hosts scoreless and scoring a point at the 61-minute mark. The goal left plenty of time for the away side to structure new attacks and equalize the score, but in the end, they couldn't live up to the challenge. When the 90 minutes of playtime had expired, the wearers of the Arsenal new kit were the victors, 2-1.
2014 2015
Coupled with Hotspur's 2-3 loss to Liverpool, Arsenal's victory pushed the football club back into fifth place on the 2014 2015 Premier League table. That's still one slot back from where the Gunners finished last year. However, with three months left to go this season, and with Arsenal still maintaining the positive run they've had going since December, the football team certainly still has a chance to improve their position.
The question, of course, is how much higher up Arsenal FC can climb before they run out of time. Both Manchester United (3rd) and Southampton (4th) are in immediate striking distance, with 47 and 46 standings points, respectively. (Arsenal has 45.) Man City is a bit further ahead, with 52 points, while Chelsea's count of 59 will be tough for anyone to crack at this point.
Still, with the stats as they stand, fans in the Arsenal away shirt 2014 2015 can still dream for a runner-up finish this year. If the team continues its recent streak of mostly positive outcomes-which, with upcoming fixtures against Crystal Palace, Everton, and Queens Park Rangers, seems likely-then the football club could certainly be a dark horse contender for a 2014 2015 title.
