Arsenal's Upcoming Season
As if these sweet red and yellow training shirts weren't enough of a reason to stock up on Arsenal training gear, then just look at the team's current prospects for the upcoming season. Spoiler alert: those prospects are positive.
Last season, Arsenal gave a consistent and high-quality performance, winning 24 matches for a positive record and a respectable fourth place finish on the Premier League table. This year, the team is looking to do even better, and fans will surely want to have their Arsenal red pre-match top 2014 2015 ready for what could be Arsenal's best season in years.
The Pre-Season
The pre-season was a productive one for Arsenal, with several wins and strong matches indicating that the team is performing at its highest point in recent years. Most of that evidence, however, was provided in an August 10th match against Manchester City.
Anyone who was paying attention to last season's Premier League already knows that Manchester City ended up at the top of the table, albeit narrowly. After a season-long struggle that saw three different teams Man City, Liverpool, and Chelsea all contending for the national title, Man City managed to outlast the other two in the final weeks of competition and win the league.
In their August 10th match, however, it was Arsenal that looked like a championship team, not Manchester City. The match, which was played to decide the winner of the FA Community Shield, ended 3-0 in favor of Arsenal and turned the ranks of Wembley Stadium into a cheering mass of Arsenal supporters.
The three goals in the FA Community Shield match were scored by Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey, and Oliver Giroud, all of who have been wearing the Arsenal training gear at least since 2012. Giroud himself was named man of the match, thanks mostly to a stunning goal he scored from 25 yards outside the box.

The fact that Arsenal was able to so thoroughly outplay a reigning Premier League champion in a significant English football trophy event alone shows that the Gunners have a chance of taking the Premier League title for their own this year. Those chances begin to look even better once it is considered that some of Arsenal's likely star players didn't even feature in the match.
For example Mesut Ozil, a star of this summer's World Cup, remained in his Arsenal red pre-match top 2014 2015 rather than taking the field to play. Ozil, an attacking midfielder and winger who transferred to Arsenal last year, is one of the team's best players but was given a break for the August 10th match considering his recent win at the World Cup, as part of the Germany national team.
Ozil wasn't the only talented player left on the sidelines for the FA Community Shield match. His German teammates, including forward Lukas Podolski and center back Pat Mertesacker, also sat the match out. With those guys on the starting line-up, the Arsenal squad may look even better.
The 2014 2015 Premier League season is still unwritten, but from the looks of it, Arsenal will certainly be a factor. Support the team by stopping by Soccer Box today and checking out our selection of Arsenal training gear.
