"Kobin's Brilliant Bicycle Kick"
Legia Warszawa v FC Metalist Kharkiv
Vasyl Kobin scored this brilliant acrobatic goal for Metalist, one of only three goals the Ukrainian side would register in their 2014/15 UEFA Europa League campaign.
We don't see bicycle kicks nearly enough, even at the highest levels of professional football, but when a well-executed one comes along, it's tough not to recognize it as one of - August 05, 2015
For weeks, everyone has been wondering if Arsenal's strong 2014 2015, FA Cup victory, and big influx of new talent could mark the football club as a potential frontrunner for the 2015 2016 Premier League season. Now, as Arsenal win FA Community Shield 2015, beating EPL Champions Chelsea, the Gunners are almost undisputable as the team to watch during the forthcoming soccer season.
Arsenal's Renaissance
Granted, Arsenal won the Community Shield last year too. The match, which pits the champions of the previous season's Premier League against the reigning holders of the FA Cup, is seen as the inaugural event of a brand new season. Arsenal won the game in 2014, topping 2013 2014 Premier League champs Manchester City 3-0 in front of more than 70,000 people at Wembley Stadium. - July 24, 2015
Arsenal are going for the gold-literally. On July 14th, the Gunners unveiled their new Arsenal away kit 2015 - 2016 -a brash blue and gold design that reflects the football club's desire to finally win a Premier League title. The jersey is a departure from 2014 2015's yellow and blue away shirt, but it doesn't lose the charm that that Puma jersey had.
In fact, the overall design of the Arsenal away jersey 2015 2016 isn't too far off from the away shirts that the Gunners were wearing last season. The sleeves and shoulders of the shirt are still navy blue, Arsenal's red crest still appears in the same spot on the kit, and the Fly Emirates logo is still displayed prominently in the center of the jersey.
The biggest shift is in color, trading the bright yellow of the 2014 2015 away kit for a shimmering gold hue. To keep the shirt from looking too theatrical, kit manufacturer Puma gave the gold parts of the jersey a striking argyle diamond patterning. The result is an away jersey - July 07, 2015
The narrative of goalkeeper Petr Cech has been fascinating to follow over the course of the 33-year-old's career. Hailing from the Czech Republic, Petr Cech played stints at Chmel Bisany, Sparta Prague, and Rennes before arriving at Chelsea. There, he made a name for himself as one of the best goalkeepers of his generation, winning the Premier League's Golden Glove award three times and helping the Blues to numerous Premier League titles, FA Cups, Football League Cups, and FA Community Shields-as well as one Champions League and one Europa League apiece. Now, Arsenal signs goalkeeper Petr Cech, and he will begin a new stage of his soccer career.

As far as style and design are concerned, the Arsenal home kit 2015 - 2016 isn't much of a departure from previous home kits. It's still a red shirt with white sleeves, and kit manufacturer Puma mostly kept the lines and color distribution of last year's home jersey intact. With that said, Arsenal know how to make a kit launch exciting, and the unveiling of the new home soccer jersey was arguably more exciting than any other kit launch we've seen so far this spring/summer.
The Launch Event
Arsenal FC officially launched the 2015 2016 home jersey on Monday, June 15th, with a high-profile event outside the gates of their home ground. Five current Arsenal players-Hector Bellerin, Santi Cazorla, Nacho Monreal, Tomas Rosicky, and Danny Welbeck-were on hand to unveil the new uniform, as was former Arsenal star Thierry Henry.
Thierry Henry, of course, is a legend at Arsenal - June 02, 2015
The 2014 2015 season certainly treated Arsenal well. While the football club ultimately couldn't worm their way into the runner-up position of this year's English Premier League, they did land in third, which is their best finish in the division since 2011 2012. They also won more games (22) than they have in a Premier League campaign since 2010, and had one of the top five goalscorers (Alexis Sanchez) in the soccer league. And finally, to top it off Arsenal win FA Cup 2015!
Now, with a victory over Aston Villa in the 2014 2015 FA Cup, Arsenal's season has gotten a whole lot sweeter. The victory marks back-to-back FA Cup titles for the Gunners, as well as a record 12th victory in the venerated soccer tournament. Last year, when Arsenal beat Hull City for the trophy, they tied Manchester United's record of 11 FA Cup trophies. This year, the Gunners have officially broken that record, and now stand by themselves at the top of the Football Association Cup history. - May 28, 2015
There was a point in the 2014 2015 Premier League season where it looked like Arsenal were going to finish in second place. With a huge 4-1 home win over Liverpool in the 31st week of competition, the Gunners even displaced Manchester City from the runner-up slot. The takeover was temporary, though. A scoreless draw against Chelsea just a few weeks later dropped Arsenal back into third, while a surprising loss against Swansea City on May 11th more or less ended the football club's chances of finishing the year in second. In the eyes of fans, though, the fault for the poor turn of events didn't lie with Swansea for winning the game, or even with Man City. Rather, another opponent caused Arsenal's troubles: the introduction of Premier League goal-line technology.

The Arsenal FA Cup 2014 - 2015 run is coming to a close, on May 30th, they will face off against Aston Villa in the championship match for the title of Champion. Should the Gunners win the game-which they are strongly favored to do-they will not only have clinched their second consecutive FA Cup victory, but they will have also set a new record in the annals of the long-standing football tournament. Right now, both Arsenal and Manchester United have won the Football Association event on 11 previous occasions. Last year, the Gunners tied the record by beating out Hull City in the final match; this year, the soccer club has the chance to break the record, and to become the most successful team in FA Cup history.
In other words, Saturday, May 30th could be a big day in the history of Arsenal football club history, and you won't want to miss it. Cheer the team toward victory with a new Arsenal home jersey 2014 2015 from Soccer Box. We still have - May 19, 2015
The standings for the 2014 2015 English Premier League are more or less set in stone, with only one week left to play this season and with the top spot already guaranteed for Chelsea. Slots three and four have remained more of a mystery in recent weeks, with the Manchester United V Arsenal fixture an opportunity for both sides to claim the coveted third podium position (and perhaps even shoot for Manchester City's runner-up spot). But on Sunday, Man United more or less blew their final opportunity at pushing into the top three, with a 1-1 draw against Arsenal.
The Pre-Match Situation
Going into the May 17th football fixture, the Man United Red Devils were two points behind Arsenal's Gunners on the 2014 2015 EPL table, their scores at 68 and 70 points, respectively. - April 28, 2015
If Arsenal were going to contend for a 2014 2015 Premier League title, this past weekend was their golden opportunity. The Gunners faced off against division leaders Chelsea in a home fixture at their own Emirates Stadium. However, despite the home field advantage Arsenal couldn't get the edge on Chelsea, and the game ended 0-0 after a frantic hour and a half of play. The draw more or less ends the Gunners chances of winning the division this year, but still keeps them in the top three.
