The English Premier league is one of the toughest leagues in the world with some well-known and world class players.
So far this season the Premier league has been particularly tight and too close to call, it seems too early to predict the title winners just yet.
Last season's champions were Manchester United who took an early lead during the start of the season and then excelled during Christmas time and after that kept their lead right to the end.
Many children support various teams from the EPL, many parents buy kids football kits for their children which can be found in online sports shops.
Arsenal currently sit at the top of the table with 34 points while Chelsea are just behind in second place with 30 points.
The Gunners have won 11 games, drawn 1 and lost 2 while Chelsea have won 9, drawn 3 and lost 1 making a comparison very difficult.
This season as a whole was bound to be an interesting one with a number of changes taking place over the summer.
Sir Alex Ferguson retired as Manchester United manager after 20 years in charge and David Moyes was appointed the new managers role, 'the special one' Jose Mourinho returned to take charge of the Chelsea FC soccer jerseys, Arsenal signed a world-class player in Mesut Ozil and Gareth Bale left for Real Madrid.
Before this season the league seemed to be becoming very predictable with the same couple of teams battling it out for the title. Since the season of 2000 - 2001 to present Manchester United have won the EPL 7 times, in-between Chelsea had won the league three times in the seasons 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2009-10.
Arsenal won the league in the year 2001-02 and again in 2003-04 and Manchester City have won the league once since the 2000's which was in the 2011-12 season.
With the loss of their successful manager Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United look very lost this season, surprisingly they sit in ninth place with 22 points, making a 12 point gap between them and leaders Arsenal.
They have only won 6 games as opposed to Arsenals 11. Speaking of change in form, Arsenal looks like a completely new team this season.
They boast plenty of goals, skill and confidence so far. Some may say that the since the signing of German international and former Real Madrid player Mesut Ozil in the summer made all of the difference.
Ozil has become a huge part in the Arsenal starting 11, he is known as a very dangerous and skilful playmaker when he is on his game. Millions of kids football kits for young Arsenal fans have been sold this season, they have been one of the most popular.
Arsenal must be careful though even in first place, rivals Chelsea are only trailing by 4 points, a win this weekend against Stoke would bring them closer.
If Arsenal win in their match against a tough Everton side though and Chelsea lose they can keep the Chelsea FC soccer jerseys at distance. A win for Chelsea and a loss for Arsenal would still not see the blues edge to the top spot, three points would still leave them a point off Arsenal, two points if Arsenal manage a draw against Everton.
The Chelsea fans and were ecstatic to hear of the return of Jose Mourinho for the 2013-2014 season. Mourinho also knows as 'the special one' made the club in to a very successful soccer team and helped them to win the Premier League title twice.
So far this season he has done nothing to disappoint, neither have the players. Mourinho insists on using a team rotation policy and it seems to be paying off.
During the summer he made a few signings including Willian and Andre Schurlle who have impressed so far, the return of Samuel Eto'o was a talking point too.
There are many skilled players who play in the Chelsea FC soccer jerseys including Brazilian international Oscar, Spanish star Juan Mata and Belgian Juan Mata, just to name a few.
It will be interesting to see if they can carry on their good form this weekend against Stoke City. Arsenal and Chelsea are both closely matches and own some of the best players in the world, it is certainly going to be a close battle toward the end of the season, we should be able to see things more clearly.
Along with Chelsea, Manchester City Liverpool and Everton are all doing really well.
Manchester City sit in third place with 28 points and the two Merseyside teams Liverpool and Everton are level pegging. After the games this weekend and next weekend, the table could have changed completely and Chelsea may just pip
Arsenal to the top of the table and stay there over Christmas and New Year.
