Last week, the Chelsea football club finally succumbed to a loss. After getting 14 weeks into the 2014 2015 Premier League without a dropped match, Chelsea lost their first of the fall last weekend in a match against Newcastle United. Luckily for the wearers of the Chelsea football kit 2014, that game was followed up by a home-fixture against one of the bottom-ranked clubs in the division: Hull City. With the home field advantage combined with the easy opponent, the Blues were able to get back to their winning ways without much trouble.

The victory marks Chelsea's 12th win of the season so far-one win ahead of current second-placers, Manchester City. The Hull City Match

The fixture against Hull's Tigers followed the pattern that the Blues have been marking most of the year. In other words, the home team held their opponents scoreless throughout the match, and breezed their way to a 2-0 victory.

The goals were also provided by the players who have been driving the majority of Chelsea's success so far in the 2014 2015 Premier League: Eden Hazard and Diego Costa. Hazard has made appearances in all 16 domestic league fixtures so far, scoring six goals along the way. Soccer Box is currently carrying a Chelsea football kit 2014 with his name and jersey number (10) emblazoned on the back.

Costa, meanwhile, has been Stamford Bridge's most valuable player this autumn. The Spanish striker came to Chelsea this fall from Atletico Madrid, and has so far made a huge impression on the squad's offensive line. With 13 appearances and 12 goals, Costa has already nearly scored as many goals in 2014 2015 as Hazard did last year. (Hazard was the club's 2013 2014 leading goalscorer, with 14 points in league and 17 overall.)

Both players looked very strong in the Chelsea home jersey 2014 2015 at Saturday's match against the Tigers, though. Eden scored the first goal of the match at the seven-minute mark, converting an assist from Oscar into a 1-0 lead for the home team.

That lead held for the entire first half and much of the second, before Eden provided an assist of his own that allowed Costa to find the back of the Tigers' net. The goal brought the lead to 2-0, and essentially sealed the win for the Blues. Fans in the stands, decked out in the Chelsea football kit 2014, were thrilled to see their team back on top.

Forthcoming Fixtures

Chelsea's win on Saturday was key, as it allowed the club to stay three points ahead of Manchester City in the 2014 2015 Premier League standings. Not that the victory was terribly surprising: Hull is currently in 19th place on the division table, having won just two matches (against Crystal Palace and Queens Park Rangers). In addition, the Tigers have drawn seven and lost seven, leaving them in dangerous relegation range.

Considering those stats, it's hardly surprising that the Tigers couldn't stand up against the likes of Hazard and Costa-especially with the stands at Stamford Bridge a sea of Chelsea home jersey 2014 2015 blue. With that said, though, the Blues will face more substantial challenges in the coming weeks, and will need to fight hard to keep their record at the exemplary spot it currently is.

Indeed, in the next month, the rulers of Stamford Bridge will face top five 2014 2015 teams like West Ham United and Southampton. January 10, 2015 will also bring a Premier League rematch against Newcastle United, the only team that has beaten the Blues all season. And January 31 will bring a showdown with Man City. Clearly, the soccer players at Chelsea have their work cut out for them.
