Season Domination

So far, in the 2014 2015 Premier League season, Chelsea's football team has not lost a single match. The club's record at this point-five wins and one draw-is better than any other team in the league.

Chelsea's streak of success began with the first match of the season, an away match against Burnley that the Blues won 3-1. Subsequent matches have been no less flattering for the Chelsea football strip. A 6-3 away win against Everton was particularly impressive for Chelsea, with a pair of goals achieved by Chelsea striker Diego Costa.

Costa has been doing Chelsea proud this season and is quickly becoming one of the club's most valuable players. Previously a member of the Atletico Madrid squad, Costa came to Chelsea in the summer as one of the club's biggest transfers. He's proven to be absolutely invaluable already, playing all six matches of Chelsea's Premier League run so far and scoring eight goals along the way.

Costa was also the star of Chelsea's 4-2 victory against Swansea City. In front of home crowds at Stamford Bridge, Costa scored a hat trick to almost singlehandedly win the match for Chelsea. Needless to say, the crowd was incredibly appreciative of his efforts, from the small fans in the Chelsea kids home jersey 2014 2015 to the grown-ups in the adult-size home shirts!

Competitive Draw

So far this season, Costa has more or less been able to run rampant over opposing teams. He scored another goal in Chelsea's recent 3-0 home win against Aston Villa and was also a factor in a 2-0 victory over Leicester City-Chelsea's first home game of the season.

There is little doubt that Costa will prove to be Chelsea's secret weapon throughout the season. This is something that is especially apparent given the fact that Chelsea's only draw this season came during a match where Costa didn't score. Since that match was played against reigning division champs Manchester City, it was always going to be one of the tougher matches of the season. Even younger fans wearing the Chelsea kids home jersey 2014 2015 might have been expecting their team to falter in such a tough match, but the team held strong and remain undefeated.

Played at Manchester City's Etihaud Stadium, the match was fiercely competitive for its duration. After 70 scoreless minutes, Chelsea forward Andre Schurrle finally got his team on the board. And for almost 15 minutes, it looked as if the match was going to end in favor of Chelsea.

However, as Manchester City proved last season, the team isn't easy to beat. At the 85-minute mark with the seconds dwindling in the match, Man City finally got on the board as well. Midfielder Frank Lampard, who left Chelsea this summer after 13 seasons and nearly 650 appearances with the club, scored the goal. It was a disappointing draw for Chelsea, but given the man who scored the equalizer, it was a fitting one.

Despite the draw, though, Chelsea remains in the perfect position in the 2014 2015 Premier League. Support this frontrunner team by stopping by Soccer Box today and picking up a brand new Chelsea football strip
