With every week and every football fixture, Chelsea FC seems to get closer and closer to securing the title of "champion" 2014 2015 Premier League. For one thing, the soccer team is 10 points ahead of every other club on the league standings table. For another, the Blues beat one of their core challengers-Manchester United-this past weekend. From the looks of it, nothing is going to stop this football club from winning a national championship this year, and you can celebrate that fact with a new Chelsea shirt from Soccer Box.

By any metric, Chelsea FC has had a remarkably strong season in 2014 2015. Even considering earlier-than-anticipated eliminations from the Champions League and the FA Cup, the Blues have still been one of the best football squads in the world this year. Indeed, the team has only lost two games all season-to Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur. Add seven draws and 23 victories, and that's the squad's record for the 2014 2015 campaign.
Needless to say, not many soccer squads have been able to keep pace with the Blues this season. Manchester United was one of them in the fall, though. Facing off against the Red Devils in an October 26th away fixture, the wearers of the Chelsea shirt settled for only their second draw of the season. (The first draw came in a September away match with United's crosstown rivals, Manchester City.)
Man City managed a second draw with the Blues in January, on Chelsea's home ground at Stamford Bridge. However, in trading the Chelsea away jersey 2014 2015 for the trademark home shirt, the Blues were able to gain an advantage over Man Utd on Saturday.
The match with the Red Devils was certainly not a runaway victory for the Blues-even with Stamford Bridge filled to the brim with fans wearing the Chelsea shirt. Indeed, United held the home squad to just one goal-a 38-minute point from Eden Hazard, with an assist from Oscar.
The Red Devils away squad also controlled possession of the ball for nearly three-quarters of the match. Unfortunately for Man Utd fans, the club just wasn't able to convert all of that possession into goals.
The match against Manchester highlights just how good Chelsea's defensive lineup is this year-particularly goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. Courtois has kept 13 clean sheets this season, while Chelsea's other goalkeeper, Peter Cech, has held opponents scoreless in two additional matches.
That means the Blues have shut out their rivals in 15 of the 32 games they've played in the 2014 2015 Premier League. Holding such a talented Man United squad to zero points might be one of the team's biggest accomplishments of all.
The defeat of the Red Devils leaves the Blues with only one major challenge left this season. Tomorrow, April 26th, players will don the Chelsea away jersey 2014 2015 to take on Arsenal. Arsenal is in second place on the 2014 2015 league standings table, and is the only other club that could feasibly contend for the title at this point. In other words, a victory in that away game would more or less guarantee Chelsea FC a national title this year.
