In past years, the International Champions Cup was just one tournament, played in the United States to give American audiences a chance to see some of the biggest soccer clubs in the world in action. This year, the 2015 International Champions Cup tournament expanded to include three editions: one in Australia, one in China, and one in North America and Europe. Real Madrid won the event in both Australia and China, and now, Paris Saint Germain have clinched the larger North American/Europe incarnation of the competition. They follow in the footsteps of Real Madrid and Manchester United, who won the ICC in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
Where the Australia and China versions of the 2015 ICC only featured three teams apiece, the North America/Europe event was more intensive, featuring 10 different soccer teams. The participants for the event came from all over, with football clubs hailing from Spain, England, France, Mexico, Portugal, and Italy all in attendance. - August 05, 2015
Chelsea might be one of the most dominant forces in English football on the men's side, but the Chelsea
Ladies Football Club had never won an FA Women's Cup title until Saturday. Arsenal and Southampton have been the big winners in the tournament over the years. Arsenal have been particularly dominant, winning nine of their 13 titles since the year 2000. The Gunners were also the two-time reigning champions, having clinched consecutive FA Cup events in 2013 and 2014. Southampton, meanwhile, had early success in the soccer tournament, but haven't won since 1981. But now Chelsea Ladies win first ever FA Cup title in monumental year for women's football. An Unpredictable Turn of Events

"If it's not blue, it will be."
That's the bold slogan for the new campaign that Chelsea football club and Adidas are launching for the 2015 2016 season. According to the club's official website, the slogan reflects "players' determination to dominate domestic and European football." In other words, the Blues are seriously gunning for a treble victory this year-the English Premier League, the FA Cup, and the UEFA Champions League-and the Chelsea home kit 2015 - 2016 is a big part of that ambitious new campaign.
The New Home Shirt
If you know what Chelsea's home kits have looked like in the past, then you at least partially know what to expect from this new design. At least in recent years, the club's home shirts have all been the same vibrant blue color and have featured the three - July 07, 2015
The narrative of goalkeeper Petr Cech has been fascinating to follow over the course of the 33-year-old's career. Hailing from the Czech Republic, Petr Cech played stints at Chmel Bisany, Sparta Prague, and Rennes before arriving at Chelsea. There, he made a name for himself as one of the best goalkeepers of his generation, winning the Premier League's Golden Glove award three times and helping the Blues to numerous Premier League titles, FA Cups, Football League Cups, and FA Community Shields-as well as one Champions League and one Europa League apiece. Now, Arsenal signs goalkeeper Petr Cech, and he will begin a new stage of his soccer career.

Do you want your kids to love watching soccer as much as you always have? Better yet, do you envision your child becoming a big-time soccer star in the Premier League, La Liga, or the Bundesliga? There's really no guaranteed method of getting kids interested in football. After all, some kids raised in sports-loving households end up wanting to blaze their own paths, while other children develop interests in different sports than what their parents or siblings love. However, if you want your child to take up football, here are five ways that you can help the dream along.
- Start Early
It's never too early to start planting the seeds for lifelong football fandom. John Terry first captained the Chelsea soccer club in December 2001, filling in for then team leader Marcel Desailly. It was a mere preview of what kind of footballer Terry would become, both as a defender and a leader. In the 2004 2005 season, following Desailly's retirement from professional football, Terry was selected by Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho as the permanent captain for the squad. The rest, as they say, is history! Read on as we assess the John Terry Premier League history and analyze his contribution to Chelsea FC and the EPL.
When John Terry dons the Chelsea home jersey 2014 2015 on May 24th for the final game of his team's 2014 2015 Premier League campaign (a home fixture against Sunderland), he will have officially led the Blues to four victories in top-flight English football. Not only has no other captain ever achieved that kind of success at Stamford Bridge, no one else has ever even come close. Prior to Terry taking the captaincy in 2004, the Blues - May 22, 2015
As celebrations for Chelsea FC's 2014 2015 Premier League title win have rained down in recent weeks, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and his division-winning soccer squad have been labeled in an array of different ways. On one end of the spectrum, they're being praised for planning and playing a dynamite season, with plenty of big victories and defining moments. On the other end of the spectrum, they're being criticized for being boring and over-calculating, and for taking much of the joy out the game of football.
Both sides of the argument have their leading voices. Manchester United's Louis van Gaal, who was Mourinho's mentor back in his Barcelona days, has called the Chelsea coach "one of the top managers in the world." Van Gaal has even said that Mourinho has surpassed him in terms of coaching ability.
Former Chelsea manager Ruud Gullit sees things differently, though. He's gone on record calling Mourinho's Chelsea squad boring, stating that the players deserve better, - May 19, 2015

Last weekend, Chelsea FC officially clinched the 2014 2015 English Premier League, beating Crystal Palace to become uncatchable in the division standings. This weekend, with a home game on the schedule against Liverpool, the Blues were undoubtedly hoping for a victory lap of sorts-a chance to revel in their newly minted status as league champions. The Liverpool football club, though, had other thoughts.
Donning the Liverpool away jersey 2014 2015 for a match in the belly of the beast (Chelsea's home stadium at Stamford Bridge), the Reds took the field on Sunday morning with the momentum very much against them. The Blues had the home field advantage-as well as the euphoria of being league champions-while the Reds have struggled to consistently win games all season long.
Somehow, Liverpool managed to neutralize most of Chelsea's offensive attacks, and even beat the EPL champs in terms of possession. The result was a surprising 1-1 draw that spoiled Chelsea's Premier League celebrations,
