Any player that gets labeled the "Serbian Messi" deserves a lot of attention. It's not often that players are compared to the great Lionel Messi at all, let alone described as younger versions of him. Needless to say, a lot of people are keeping an eye on Andrija Zivkovic right now, wondering what might be next for the 19-year-old winger who has already been so impressive in his career.
As the youngest player to ever make an appearance with the Serbian national football team-and the youngest team captain ever for Serbian club FK Partizan-Zivkovic is a soccer wunderkind. He led Partizan to victory in the Serbian SuperLiga last season and has kept the club a factor in the 2015 2016 Europa League. Indeed, Zivkovic is one of the top scorers in the competition so far-a fact that has made him a transfer target for many football clubs throughout Europe. - December 05, 2015
Last season, Diego Costa could do no wrong at Chelsea FC. Though he only transferred to Stamford Bridge during the summer of 2014, he quickly became a hero at the football club, scoring 20 goals in 26 league fixtures to become the team's top scorer. Along with Eden Hazard, Costa was the driving force behind Chelsea's title victory in the English Premier League, and fans were hoping to see more of the same from the Brazilian-born striker in 2015 2016.
Things haven't really worked out that way.
This season, Costa is still Chelsea's top scorer in the Premier League. The problem is, he's only scored three goals and has often looked sloppy and tired out on the pitch. Such an example of sloppiness led to a feud between Jose Mourinho and Diego Costa during the Blues' November 24th Champions League match against Maccabi Tel Aviv. - December 02, 2015
An eventful weekend in the English Premier League 2015 - 2016 week 14 saw Leicester City's Jamie Vardy shattering a 12-year-old record and Manchester City reclaiming the peak position on the standings table, among other things.
11 Games in a Row
Vardy was deservedly the story of the week, much like he has been the top story in English football for the majority of the season. In the midst of a 1-1 draw between Leicester City and Manchester United, the 28-year-old striker scored his team's lone goal. It was the 11th league match in a row that saw Vardy finding the back of the net, an accomplishment that no - November 30, 2015
Week five of the UEFA Champions League 2015/16 began to bring the next phase of the competition into clear focus, as 10 of the round of 16 slots are now confirmed. Week six of the group stage, which the UEFA has scheduled for December 8th and 9th, will see several on-the-fringe clubs battling for last-minute advancement. For the most part, though, the big title contenders have already secured their round of 16 spots.
The First Qualifiers
When we last checked in with the Champions League, following week four of competition in early November, three teams-Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Zenit St. Petersburg-had already guaranteed themselves advancement into the next round. Zenit St. Petersburg continues to carry the - November 28, 2015

Quite as shocking as Leicester City sitting atop the Premier League in late November is the fall of the team who reigned in that position at the end of May: Chelsea's abysmal season so far still sees them as close to the relegation zone (in points, even closer in places) than the top half of the table and with a difficult run of games coming up which will shape the remainder of their season.
With questions over whether Jose Mourinho had lost the dressing room and the support of the board still fresh in all onlookers' minds, the recent run of three wins in four has at least gone some way to stilling the turbulent waters at Stamford Bridge-though the undercurrent of dissatisfaction is still very much present. It will be choppy and difficult to navigate once more this weekend, should Chelsea fail to take points off Tottenham Hotspur, a team who are

When Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea FC face one another on November 29th, at the Spurs' White Hart Lane, it will be an interesting rivalry match between two of London's football clubs. The two teams both had great seasons last year, with the Blues winning the 2014 2015 Premier League title and Tottenham putting forth striker Harry Kane as the breakout star of the domestic season. Both clubs also suffered very poor starts to the 2015 2016 campaign, with Chelsea dipping as far as 16th on the Premier League Table and Tottenham sitting 17th after the first week of competition.
Getting Out of the Rut
The difference between these two soccer clubs is that, while Tottenham Hotspur seem to have escaped their season-opening - November 26, 2015
Manchester City and Arsenal-the football clubs that were sitting at the top of the Premier League table headed into this weekend-week 13 of 201516 EPL season proved to be thoroughly unlucky. Both teams lost, with Manchester City falling 1-4 against Liverpool and Arsenal stumbling to a 0-1 loss in an away game at West Bromwich Albion. The Sky Blues and the Gunners now occupy the third and fourth place spots on the table, respectively. It's the lowest Manchester City have dipped all season.
Lucky Leicester
For many of the other most notable soccer clubs in the Premier League, though, week 13 proved to be surprisingly full of luck. Topping the list of fortunate teams are Leicester City, who beat Newcastle United 3-0 to scoot into first - November 24, 2015
At the beginning of this season, it wasn't clear just how much time Willian, a 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder who has played for Chelsea since the 2013 2014 season, would get to spend on the soccer pitch. Willian made 36 appearances during the 2014 2015 campaign and was a strong part of the season's Premier League-winning squad. However, with fellow Brazilian teammate Pedro transferring to Chelsea over the summer, many football pundits pointed to Willian as the player most likely to lose his spot in Jose Mourinho's starting lineup.
However, in what has turned out to be a dismal campaign at Chelsea so far, Willian has been one of the lone bright spots. The attacking midfielder is the football club's top scorer for the season, with two goals in league play and five overall. He's singlehandedly kept the Blues in the running in the Champions League and is one of the few reasons fans are still holding out hope for a turnaround in the Premier League. Needless to say, Jose Mourinho has - November 17, 2015
Last season, Chelsea FC were unstoppable from the get-go. Right from their first game of the season (a 3-1 win against Burnley), the Blues were in first place on the Premier League standings table. They would hold that lead for the entire length of the 38-game league campaign, not losing a single match until week 15, and only losing three fixtures all season. Sure, Jose Mourinho's squad was criticized for a highly tactical, "boring" style of play, but there was nothing boring for Chelsea fans about getting to see their team thoroughly dominate every other football club in the league. The Blues finished the season with 87 points-eight points above defending champs, Manchester City. Fast forward to the 2015 - 2016 Premier League and what can only be described as Chelsea's nightmare season.
The Current State - November 14, 2015
Manchester City and Arsenal may be the football clubs at the top following week 12 of 2015/16 Premier League play, and Chelsea may be grabbing more headlines than just about any English team, thanks to their disastrous season so far. However, arguably no soccer club in the league has enjoyed more of a renaissance this season than Leicester City.
Indeed, the Foxes are sitting third in the Premier League after 12 weeks of competition, just one point behind both Manchester City and Arsenal. They've won seven of their games and have only lost one, making them the least beaten club in the league right now, alongside Tottenham Hotspur. Add the fact that Leicester currently have the top two scorers in the EPL, and the Foxes are beginning to look like legitimate title contenders. The Rise of Leicester
