After last night's play-off's we now have more of an understanding as to who will definitely travelling to Brazil for the 2014 World Cup tournament.
There were four teams who had to compete against each other in the second legs in order to determine who would grab one of the few remaining places in the World Cup next year.
One of the most anticipated games was Portugal V Sweden, or you could say Ronaldo V Ibrahimovic.
In the end it was Ronaldo who won the battle. You will usually see this striker playing in the Cristiano Ronaldo 7 Real Madrid home soccer jersey 2013 - 2014.
The teams competing also included Romania V Greece, with Greece securing their spot drawing 1-1 with Romania but beating them in the first leg 3-1 which gave them an aggregate score of 2-4.
Croatia took on Iceland and won 2-0 on aggregate after both teams failed to break the deadlock in the first leg.
France were the shock of the night, beating Ukraine 3-2 and overturning a 2-0 deficit from the first leg when Ukraine beat them with a fantastic football performance.
Finally we had Sweden V Portugal; the Portuguese went in to last night's match with a 1-0 advantage with a goal coming from the Cristiano Ronaldo soccer jersey in the first leg.
The match kicked off at 7.45 Pm and was very much anticipated by all soccer fans. Whichever team won this match would go through to the World Cup giving either Ronaldo or Ibrahimovic to showcase their fantastic skill.
The match started off pretty evenly, but it was that man Cristiano Ronaldo who broke the deadlock, he netted in the 50th minute but not too long after in the 68th minute Zlatan Ibrahimovic brought the home side level.
The Swedish star then gave the home team even more hope when he scored again four minutes later which meant that Portugal were only leading on away goals.
Unfortunately for the Sweden team and supporters, Ronaldo came back with a goal just five minutes later and celebrated in style.
If things could not get any worse for the Swedes, the man who has so far scored 162 goals in 148 appearances in the Cristiano Ronaldo soccer jersey netted his last goal in the 77th minute, just two minutes after his last goal giving Portugal the golden ticket through to the 2014 World Cup!
Portugal were ecstatic and the whole team including substitutes celebrated by piling on top of the star striker after his goal.
In a report after the game Ronaldo spoke to the press about how he felt the team fared. " We were better in the first and the second game, I'm happy to once again have helped the team to win," said Ronaldo. He also said that he thought the team deserved the win 100%.
Cristiano Ronaldo may of felt he had a lot to prove, he has come under the spotlight recently particularly in the social media and one statement which shocked us all and infuriated Real Madrid was when FIFA president Sepp Blatter was asked to compare the Madrid player with Barcelona star Lionel Messi,
Blatter said: "One has more expenses for the hairdresser than the other."
After hearing of the comments the Real Madrid forward took to his Facebook account and added a personal status which read "This shows clearly the respect and consideration that Fifa has for me, for my club and my country."
Supporters of the forward expressed their anger as they felt that Blatter had been disrespectful towards the 28 year old who plays in the Cristiano Ronaldo soccer jersey.
Both Ronaldo and the ever popular Lionel Messi are up for the FIFA Ballon D'or award which stands for the world player and many football fans think that Ronaldo deserves the award this year.
The striker has lost out to Messi in the last four years due to the Argentine's outstanding football.
Up until now he has always thoroughly deserved the award but Ronaldo's goals this time and skill speak for themselves.
This season Cristiano Ronaldo has been fantastic for Real Madrid, he has carried on his form and not let the arrival of former Tottenham Hotspur striker Gareth Bale affect or distract him.
He has millions of fans and young Madrid supporters who idolise him. The sales of the Cristiano Ronaldo 7 Real Madrid home soccer jersey 2013 - 2014 have soared due to his fabulous form.
The new shirt released at the start of the season is one of the Adidas soccer jerseys, it is white in colour with some grey, orange and black detail.
The Real Madrid crest is embroidered in the usual place and opposite is an Adidas logo in grey. The shoulders have matching 'Adidas three stripes' and the Fly Emirates sponsor in the centre.
What makes this shirt though is the orange detail on the sleeves and collar. It gives the football jersey edge and character.
The Cristiano Ronaldo soccer jersey has always been a popular shirt and I am sure the sales will rocket if he wins the FIFA Ballon D'or this year.
