football shirtsFootball kits can be extremely expensive and some people cannot afford to keep buying these every season. With younger children they tend to follow what their friends are buying and automatically want a football kit if they see someone they know wearing one. Some retail shops stock discounted football kits but you must be careful and watch out for counterfeit football kits, there are many ways of spotting a fake, i have written about this in one of my previous blogs.

Every year as football seasons come to an end many passionate football fans are upset at the thought of having to wait weeks on end for a new season to start. But there is one positive thing about the season ending, anyone who did not get chance to buy the kit throughout the year will get the chance to purchase cheap football kits which are 100% official.

When the season ends and pre-season training starts for professional footballers, shirts and kits often go on sale. There was one kit that shocked football fans and that was the Aston Villa range, the AVFC store themselves and various other retailers were stocking the kids home shirt for £10.00 at the end of the season. During the 12-13 season this would have cost you around £40.00 so it is well worth waiting.

It all depends on your preference, some football fans are not bothered and opt to wait and buy the cheap football kits from the previous season, however the majority of supporters like to order their shirt when it comes out. Some fans even pre order their shirt if this option is available, this way when the item is available from the retailer and the launch date arrives they get theirs sent out straight away ready for that date.

Most local football teams who play in leagues at weekends are often seen playing in plain kits or cheap football kits with limited detail. There are certain retailers that stock this type of football strip, the manager can sometimes buy discounted football kits as they are buying in a large batch of at least 11 kits.

The end of the professional football leagues can be a great time for these football teams, this is because they have the chance to buy replica football kits from sports shops and others who stock these online. Instead of buying kits made by brands such as Stanno, Prostar, Errea and Mitre they have the chance to play in football kits made by brands such as Nike and Adidas.

Discounted football kits brought from the end of season ranges by these local leagues are a real bargain.

For example for a squad with 11 players wanting to purchase a Brazil home shirt 2012-13 each, mid season these would cost around £60.00 and altogether would come to approximately £660, however if they went to buy the 12-13 shirt during end of season when they are on sale they could buy them for £40-45 pound, which would work out to around £480-500. This is a great saving.

When old stock is purchased from sportswear businesses, this is also good news for the company its self because in order for new stock to come in all of the old stock, or as much of it as possible needs to be sold to make room for the new products. Also if this stock is not sold and people just prefer to buy the new kits, all of the old stock will go to waste, then leading to the business losing profit.

Buying discounted football kits are a great way of saving money, this is often a popular way of buying kits though so do not delay when you want to buy your cheap football kit, stock reduces very quickly during sales so get your order in while stocks last.
