The 2014 2015 Coppa Italia

Now is a particularly great time to buy some new Juventus apparel. The Zebras could use a bit of fan support to help propel them through to the next stage of the 2014 2015 Coppa Italia. And after all, what better way is there to show your support for a football club than with a shopping cart full of their apparel?

The wearers of the Juventus home shirt are currently on the hunt for their first Italian Cup title since 1994 1995. That's a long drought, especially for a soccer team that has won the Serie A title on seven different occasions since then.

Granted, the Zebras have come close a few times: they finished as the tournament runners-up just a few years ago, coming in second to Napoli in 2011 2012. Close isn't good enough for a football club as great as Juventus FC, though, and this season, 20 years after their last victory, they are looking to finally end the Coppa Italia drought.

Fiorentina

The only thing standing between the Zebras and a spot in the 2014 2015 Italian Cup finals is Fiorentina. The Lilies themselves are looking to break their own dry spell in the tournament this year, having not won since 2001.

After the first leg of semifinal play, the Zebras are trailing behind the Lilies in the fight for the championship match slot. The two teams played one another on March 5th, in a home game at Juventus Stadium.

But while home fans showed up in spades, decked out in Juventus apparel, it was Fiorentina that had the edge. With two goals from Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Salah, the Lilies broke Juventus' home field advantage to win the game.

Now, all the pressure is on the Zebras for the second semifinal leg, scheduled for April 7th at Fiorentina's Stadio Artemio Franchi. The team will have to score at least two goals and win the game by at least one point in order to have a shot at progressing to the championship match. A 3-1 victory is the smallest outcome that will win Juventus the round outright, while a 2-1 victory would still send the game into extra time on a tied aggregate.

To make things more challenging, players will be trading the Juventus home jersey 2014 2015 for the blue away jersey. Meanwhile, the stands instead of being filled with fans draped in Zebra apparel will be packed primarily with excited Lilies supporters.

Luckily, if there's one thing Juventus have proven this year, it's that they can win games just fine without the home field advantage on their side. They just secured their quarterfinal spot in the Champions League by besting Borussia Dortmund 3-0 in an away fixture. Suffice to say that you can't write this football club off just yet.
