"Exemplary" is a great word to describe the performance against Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16. Things got off to a good start, when the Zebras won the away leg on February 24th to take a 2-1 lead in the aggregate. However, it was the home leg, played on March 18th, that really showcased the soccer club's masterful abilities.
Starting with a three-minute goal from attacker Carlos Tevez, the wearers of the Juventus jerseys took complete control of the match. The Zebras had possession, controlling the ball for 61% of play time, and when BVB did put together an offensive attack, it broke against the home defense like rain upon rock.
Juventus itself didn't actually score again until late in the match, when Alvaro Morata took an assist from Tevez to put the home side up 2-0 at the 70-minute mark.
