Juventus might be the frontrunners to win the Italian Serie A  2014 2015 League soccer title (and the current first place club, as well), but they went into the draw for the Champions League round of 16 at a Juventus Away Shirt 2014 - 2015disadvantage. Because the Zebras came in second place in their tournament group, they were given a tougher draw than they would have with a victory. With that said the wearers of the Juventus kit might have gotten lucky they are set to face Germany's struggling Borussia Dortmund football squad in the first round of the UCL knockout phase.

Play won't begin in the knockout rounds until February 2015. In the meantime, you can stock up on football gear to support Juventus in the competitive Champions League tournament. At Soccer Box, we have an array of different merchandise for the team, from the Juventus away jersey 2014 2015 to an orange Nike training kit. All of these items are available for purchase on our website.

The 2014 2015 UCL so Far

In the groups, Juventus was drawn against Atletico Madrid, Olympiacos FC, and Malmo FF. The Zebras won three of their football games, drew one, and lost two. Atletico was the clear winner of the group-both at home and away-while the Old Lady settled for the runner-up position.

Because of the outcome of groups, Atletico Madrid was given a "seeded" position ahead of the draw that would decide the fixtures for the knockout phase. That meant that Madrid would get to face a second place team from one of the other groups. Meanwhile, Juventus was unseeded, which meant that they would face a first place team from the group stage.

Atletico Madrid was matched up with Bayer Leverkusen for the round of 16-a fixture that the reigning La Liga champions should have little trouble winning. The Zebras, meanwhile, will don the Juventus kit to take on Borussia Dortmund.

Juventus Versus Borussia Dortmund

While most are predicting easy advancement for Atletico, it is considerably more difficult to predict the outcome of the two-leg battle between Juventus and Dortmund.

On one hand, Borussia's Black and Yellows won their group, and have a better record than Juventus in the 2014 2015 Champions League so far (four wins, one draw, and one loss). On the other hand, the Old Lady has played considerably better across the board this fall.

Indeed, while the wearers of the Juventus away jersey 2014 2015 are leading the way in the 2014 2015 Ligue 1, The Black and Yellows have hardly ever been in worse position in the German Bundesliga. While the club finished the 2013 2014 season with the runner-up slot in the division, they've fallen near to the bottom of the table this year, suffering a rash of losses that have been unexpected and-given the team's success in the UCL-difficult to explain.

It's possible that the Black and Yellows simply sailed through the groups because it was pitted against easier competitors than most of the other teams that have advanced to the round of 16. The club's group also included Arsenal, Anderlecht, and Galatasaray-all solid soccer teams, but none of them likely contenders for the Champions League title.

So what will happen when the teams wearing the Juventus kit and the Dortmund kit clash? Will the Zebras' consistency allow them to claim victory? Or will the Black and Yellows continue to perform well in the UCL, in spite of a rough domestic division situation?

Those questions will be answered starting on February 24th, when the two teams clash at Juventus Stadium in Torino. They will also face each other in a second leg on March 18th, when the Zebras don the Juventus away jersey 2014 2015 and head to Borussia's own Signal Iduna Park. The winner of these fixtures will, of course, continue on to the quarterfinals.
