Borussia Dortmund

It's the perfect time to go shopping for Juventus kits at Soccer Box! The Italian football squad is shooting for its second-ever Champions League title this year (and the first since the mid-1990s), and the win against Borussia on Tuesday brought that dream one step closer to fruition.

It all began with the Zebras donning the Juventus home shirt and heading out onto their home pitch to face off against Dortmund. The German squad has been struggling this year in the Bundesliga, but still finished atop their group in the UCL. (They were in Group D, and topped Arsenal, Anderlecht, and Galatasaray to reach their current position.) As a result, no one in the Juventus camp really knew what to expect from Borussia's Black and Yellows.

Luckily for fans of the Zebras, Dortmund was actually less of a challenge than the club that Juventus had to contend with during the groups (Atletico Madrid). Most of the action of the match played out early, with the home side taking the lead at the 13-minute mark (thanks to a goal from Carlos Tevez), and with the Black and Yellows countering with a goal of their own just five minutes later.

With such an eventful opening, the wearers of the Juventus kits may have been expecting a long and grueling offensive match. After those introductory shots had been fired, though, the game transitioned into a primarily defensive battle. There was one more goal in the game, when the Zebras' Alvaro Morata netted a point right before halftime. Other than that, though, both clubs were doing good work blocking one another's attacks.

In the end, though, it was the football fans in the Juventus home shirt 2014 2015 who had reason to celebrate. The score ended at 2-1 in favor of the home team, leaving the Zebras as the favorites to progress to 2014 2015 UCL quarterfinals.

Still to Come

Not that Dortmund can entirely be written off. While the football club has certainly faced hardships in this year's Bundesliga, they've bounced back recently with a string of wins in the league. The Zebras should be on the lookout for a similar turnaround when they face the Black and Yellows in Germany on March 18th.

Regardless of what happens, Juventus have already performed better in the 2014 2015 Champions League than they did at last year's event. In 2013, the Italian football club was eliminated from the tournament at the group stage, losing to Real Madrid and Galatasaray.

The year before that, the Zebras made it to the UCL quarterfinals only to lose to German standouts, Bayern Munich. Needless to say, this year's round of 16 matchup with Borussia is the chance Juventus has been looking for to get back at the Bundesliga.
