The facilities available to the players include synthetic pitches, rehabilitation rooms, press and meeting rooms, a gymnasium, swimming pool, restaurant and recreational facilities.

In an interview i read with first team coach Steve Clarke in 2011, he explained what usually happened on a day to day basis in the LFC soccer jersey and the routine usually taken during training.

I have taken notes of these and I will tell you how to train like your hero's.

First of all soccer players must make sure they are in the right clothing, a training jersey and shorts/trousers or a full Liverpool tracksuit.

Hats and other football accessories depending on the weather, after all if you are too cold you will not be fully concentrating.

The breakdown usually changes on a day to day basis but will usually start with the players warming up for twenty minutes, this includes jogging, running.

After that they teach the players some more technical skill like passing and dribbling, this gets the players more alert and teaches them to control the ball well.

After that comes the possession elements, usually the players will practice how to keep hold of the ball in tight areas such as the penalty box or near a corner and practice their touch.

Later in the week is when the Liverpool players usually practice different formations which may come in useful in the weekend matches.

The end of each game is finished off with a friendly game to get the goalkeeper some practice in and test the player's skill.

So the physical activities the Liverpool squad usually take part in can be tried out at home, if you have one or more person who loves football then try out some of the drills yourself.

They are pretty easy to follow. Train in your favourite LFC soccer jersey and you will really feel like your favourite Liverpool player.

You can start with a slow warm up jog, then look in to practicing your basic dribbling and passing with a friend, after that have a go at trying to keep the ball for as long as possible in a small area, maybe use training cones to close off a certain space.

At the end of your training regime test your newly learnt skill by playing some mini 5 or 7-a-side soccer games.

Today is a Friday so the Liverpool players will be working hard in training, the coach will want to see them in the official soccer jersey practice on their pass and touch in order to make sure they are working well together before tomorrow's game against Fulham at Anfield.
