2014 was almost a banner year for the Liverpool football club. The team's star striker, Luis Suarez, notched 31 points en route to becoming the Premier League's leading goalscorer for the 2013 2014 Liverpool Away Shirt 2014 - 2015soccer season. The squad also almost earned their first top division football title since 1989 1990, before letting Manchester City slip in and steal the lead during the final weeks of competition. Even despite that disappointment, though, 2014 was a solid year for the wearers of the Liverpool kit.

Unfortunately, the luck hasn't carried over to the 2014 2015 season. Suarez departed Anfield in the wake of his now infamous World Cup biting scandal, and the football club has struggled without him. From the looks of it, though, things are looking up now that 2015 has arrived, and you can celebrate that fact today with a brand new Liverpool away jersey 2014 2015 from Soccer Box!

Better Luck in 2015

Indeed, the Reds have now gone a month without losing a match, either in the Premier League or outside of it. Their last defeat, a December 14th, 0-3 away shutout against Manchester United, had dropped them to 10th place on the standings table.

With that loss-Liverpool's seventh of the season-it looked like the team's chances at contending for a division title had completely evaporated. After all, the soccer squad only lost six fixtures total during the 2013 2014 domestic season. Needless to say, the streak of losses left fans in the Liverpool kit feeling out in the cold.

Luckily for those fans, things seem to be turning around for the Reds. The club ended 2014 with a big win, donning the Liverpool home football jersey for a massive 4-1 win against Swansea City. The final weeks of the year also included an away win against Burnley, an exciting 2-2 draw with Arsenal, and a fifth round League Cup win over Bournemouth. The Bournemouth victory earned Liverpool a slot in the 2014 2015 tournament semifinals, where they will take on Chelsea in an upcoming January 20th football fixture.

In the meantime, the Reds are doing some other quality work to kick off 2015. A 2-2 home draw with Leicester City started things off on New Year's Day, but the squad has luckily had more luck in the Liverpool away jersey 2014 2015. Indeed, so far, while wearing the away kit in 2015, Liverpool has won an FA Cup fixture (against AFC Wimbledon) and scored a Premier League victory (over Sunderland).

Climbing the Table

The recent successes have allowed the wearers of the Liverpool kit to begin a slow (but hopefully steady) climb up the 2014 2015 division standings table. After dipping as low as 12th place-after a three-game losing streak in November-the Reds' current 8th place position is a big improvement. Still, the squad will need something of a winning streak if they are going to climb back up into the winner's circle of the top five.

Indeed, right now, Liverpool has a record of a nine wins, five draws, and seven losses. That gives them 32 points on the standings table. Meanwhile, the margin for breaking into the top five right now is 36 points, held by Arsenal. For reference, Arsenal's record at the moment is 10 wins, six draws, and five losses.

Looking at those numbers, it's not out of the question that Liverpool could be back into the top five by the end of the season. Heck, if the club's players continue to perform as well as they have lately in the Liverpool away jersey 2014 2015, then they could be up in that range within a few weeks.

As far as jockeying for a possible title position goes, the team from Anfield might be out of luck for 2014 2015. Current division leader, Chelsea, has 49 points, while the defending champs from Manchester City have 47. Even if each club started losing every match-and Liverpool hit upon a massive winning streak-it would still take the Reds five or six weeks to claim the top of the table.

In other words, Liverpool won't be winning that long sought after title this spring, but you can still root for them to move back up into the Premier League's upper echelon. Do just that by picking up a Liverpool kit at Soccer Box today! Whether you are looking for a home jersey or an away kit 2014 2015, we have it here.
