It has been an interesting start to the season for Liverpool football club so far and a very good one for the supporters and team. So far this season they have won 6 of their last 9 games, drawn 2 and lost 1 giving them a total of 20 points.

They are now 2 points off the top spot which is where Arsenal are currently positioned. The sales of the Liverpool boys home soccer jersey 2013 - 2014 have risen in thousands since last season. liverpool soccer jerseys

Ironically Liverpool face Arsenal this Saturday at the Emirates and will be looking to take all three points in their away football shirts.

The team will be looking to feed the ball through to SAS, also known as Suarez and Sturridge who have been Liverpool's unstoppable force this season.

The pair will be hoping that they can show a strong Arsenal side that they are a force to be reckoned with in their Liverpool soccer jerseys, they will be wanting to prove all of the doubters wrong who say that they do not think Liverpool will be able to win the league.

The two strikers are very dangerous when playing together in the Liverpool soccer jerseys, they have become a fantastic strike partnership ever since Suarez returned from his 10-match ban on Wednesday 25th September in the capital one cup defeat buy Manchester United.

After this he made his official Premier League return in Liverpool's 3-1 victory at Sunderland, Suarez scored two of the goals and Sturridge netted the other. From this game onwards, everybody could see that SAS were a serious goal threat when playing together.

In one of my latest blogs i have written an article on Luis Suarez himself and all of the media surrounding him, is he going to leave in January? There are reports that Carlo Ancelotti may be lining up a bid of £20m plus Karim Benzema.

One thing Suarez did say on the 25th October was this; "Now, with Daniel we are trying our best and we can improve. Maybe in a few years I will be able to say my best partnership was with Daniel Sturridge, especially if we can continue to progress."

This could be a hint that now he has found a great partnership with Sturridge he is planning to stay. At one point at the end of the 2012-2013 season Suarez wanted out of the Liverpool soccer jerseys.

He told the media he dreamt of a move to Real Madrid. The club also turned down a bid from Arsenal in the transfer window. Arsenal are rumoured to be lining up a second bid for the striker of £50m in the January transfer window, whether this will happen or not who knows.

If he does go there will be millions of disappointed fans including young children who support Liverpool. Luis Suarez is an idol to some soccer fans, there have been so many of the Liverpool boys home soccer jersey 2013 - 2014 sold so far this season and for him to leave would be heart-breaking for the younger fans who have grown to love him.

Daniel Sturridge who is also one of England's forwards, made a name for himself during the absence of Sturridge. Before Suarez's suspension, Sturridge was playing in his place and showed he was worthy of a place in the start line up, ever since Rogers has played them both together in the Liverpool soccer jerseys.

During his time at former club Chelsea, Sturridge was usually played on the wing, a position he did not favour. Since his move to Liverpool he has been able to play as a centre-forward, a much more preferable position for him.

He has shown he can produce some amazing football and that shows with him scoring 21 goals in 27 games for the club. Today during a press interview ahead of the game on Saturday, Brendan Rodgers was asked once again about the Suarez/Arsenal controversy.

He stood his ground however and stated "For us and the institution we are we certainly weren't going to sell to a rival, a competitor, and that was something which was very strong from the off. It was kind of obvious that they were not going to sell to Arsenal, a big Premier League rival.

If Real Madrid do come knocking though with a large bid similar to Gareth Bale's £86 million pound deal, could Liverpool afford to say no? As Liverpool take on Arsenal tomorrow, their squad has been bolstered by the return of the very influential Phillipe Coutinho and there are no fresh injury worries.

Jose Enrique remains side-lined with his knee injury. Arsenal will be without Mathieu Flamini who has been a rock for them in midfield since he came back on a free transfer. Serge Gnabry is also out with his ankle injury and all other long term absentees including Alex Oxlade-chamberlain and Theo Walcott.

The master of the assist Mesut Ozil will be ever present in midfield as the Gunners look to grab all 3 points.

What is your prediction for Saturday's game?
