- September 12, 2015Manchester United is the world's most valuable football brand, and one of the highest-earning clubs in the world year after year. However, in spite of the team's considerable riches and brand recognition, Manchester United continue to not run a ladies football team. It's an odd attribute for the Red Devils to lack, seeing as competing Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool all run highly successful, top-flight ladies soccer squads. Even crosstown rivals Manchester City have a ladies soccer team. Is it time for Manchester United to add a women's team to their bottom line? Or perhaps a better question, why haven't they done so already?

Is Louis van Gaal out of his mind? Are Manchester United just throwing money around because they can? What is going on? Who is Anthony Martial the new signing from AS Monaco?
Those were just a few of the questions being posed by fans and football media alike on deadline day, as Manchester United announced the transfer of French teenager Anthony Martial to Old Trafford. Normally, a promising young player like Martial (a 19-year-old forward who has played for Monaco since 2013) would net a fairly modest transfer fee.
Not so in this case, though: despite the fact that Martial has played a total of 72 games in his senior soccer career-and despite the fact that he's only netted 15 goals along the way-Louis van Gaal paid a reported £36 million to bring Martial to England. That number could-and according Monaco VP Vadim Vasilyev, will-rise to just shy of £58 million, with "very realistic" bonuses taken into account. - September 07, 2015
Borussia Dortmund didn't have the most eventful deadline day on Monday, September 1st, as the summer transfer window skittered to a close. A deal to transfer winger Kevin Grosskreutz to Galatasaray was reportedly blocked by FIFA, while talks with Manchester United about a possible transfer out for Marco Reus were also apparently on the table. In the end, though, both Reus and Grosskreutz will be sticking around at BVB until January or beyond, while Adnan Januzaj heads to Borussia Dortmund, from Manchester United, the forward will don the Borussia Dortmund home shirt 2015 2016 on a season-long basis.
A Loan with No Permanent Potential?
The word on Dortmund's deadline day loan deal for Adnan Januzaj is that he will be playing for the German soccer club until May, but will inevitably return to Old Trafford once the 2015 2016 season closes out. In other words, there is no section included in his loan contract that - September 04, 2015
The last day of the summer transfer window always a big day in English soccer, bringing all of the surprises, left-turns, and last-minute decisions that we have come to expect from deadline day. This year's deadline day begat a number of notable headlines, from Manchester City's lofty summer spending total, to Man United's expensive signing of relative unknown Anthony Martial. Perhaps the biggest shocker of deadline day, though, was that the David de Gea transfer to Real Madrid fails, and in epic fashion no less.
The Botched de Gea Deal: A History of Events
First, some background. David de Gea, while he's been playing at Old Trafford since 2011, was born and raised in Spain, and actually came up through the Atletico Madrid youth program before playing for the Mattress - September 02, 2015
One month and four matches into the 2015 2016 English Premier League season, there have already been a fair share of surprises and unexpected turns of events. From the inexplicable success of Crystal Palace, to the complete implosion of Jose Mourinho's Chelsea football club squad, August has been an eventful month in the EPL. But does the first month of EPL play 2015 provide any indication of where the season could be going? Or will the season's remaining 34 fixtures restore the table to a more usual and predictable outcome?
Manchester City: The Clear Season Frontrunners
If there's one thing that has been revealed by the first month of Premier League play, it's that Manchester City are the clear frontrunners to win the title come next May. A year ago, Chelsea very clearly announced themselves as title contenders, winning their first four EPL matches, and never giving up the top spot in the league standings after - August 13, 2015
We'll find out about the match-ups for the Champions League group stage on August 27th, but in the meantime, UEFA have officially announced the Champions League Play-Off Round Draw 2015 - 2016. As usual, the play-offs will see 20 teams competing against one another in two-leg match-ups. The winning football clubs from each of the 10 match-ups will be added to the draw fro the Champions League group stage. The losing soccer squads, meanwhile, will enter the group stage for the 2015 2016 Europa League.
The Champions Route
The play-off round for the Champions League is always split up into two sections: the Champions Route and the League Route. The Champions Route is comprised of division champions from countries whose football leagues are too small and not quite competitive enough to earn an automatic UCL qualification. The League Route, meanwhile, is made up of second, third, or fourth-placed teams from more competitive - August 09, 2015
In past years, the International Champions Cup was just one tournament, played in the United States to give American audiences a chance to see some of the biggest soccer clubs in the world in action. This year, the 2015 International Champions Cup tournament expanded to include three editions: one in Australia, one in China, and one in North America and Europe. Real Madrid won the event in both Australia and China, and now, Paris Saint Germain have clinched the larger North American/Europe incarnation of the competition. They follow in the footsteps of Real Madrid and Manchester United, who won the ICC in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
Where the Australia and China versions of the 2015 ICC only featured three teams apiece, the North America/Europe event was more intensive, featuring 10 different soccer teams. The participants for the event came from all over, with football clubs hailing from Spain, England, France, Mexico, Portugal, and Italy all in attendance. - August 06, 2015
What can £750 million buy in the English Premier League? For Adidas, it bought a 10-year kit sponsorship agreement with Manchester United-a world record deal that inspired the Red Devils to end their 13-year partnership with Nike. Nike had been making United's official football kits since 2002, when the club chose not to renew its sponsorship deal with Umbro after 10 years. Adidas actually has been
United's kit manufacturer in the past-from 1980 to 1992-but the Manchester United home kit 2015 - 2016 marks first time in a long time, that we've seen the trademark Adidas stripes on the shoulders of a Devils jersey.
Fittingly, then, the design of the Manchester United home jersey 2015 - July 22, 2015
Sunday, July 12th brought not one, but two Manchester United transfers for 2015, this is exciting news for fans. The day saw back-to-back medical screenings for the two players, who become the latest additions to the squad Louis van Gaal hopes will take the Man United name back to the top of the Premier League podium. But what roles will these two footballers play at Old Trafford, and will they be the answers to recent Red Devils woes?
Bastian Schweinsteiger: A Seasoned Veteran

One of the bigger question marks for this year's summer transfer window is about whether or not Angel
Di Maria will be staying on at Manchester United. Di Maria arrived at Old Trafford a year ago, following an impressive breakout stint at Real Madrid. But he's underperformed in the Premier League, to the point where some Man Utd fans even blame him for the football club's finish outside of the top three in 2014 2015.
While he might be coming off a poor season, Angel Di Maria remains a player to watch in 2015 2016-wherever he may end up. At 27, the Argentine winger/attacking midfielder should have a few good years ahead of him. Looking at Di Maria's career so far, it's pretty clear that the footballer has
