The emotion to describe the feeling of Sir Alex Ferguson leaving Manchester United to the fans would have probably been disbelief. It came as a real shock to everybody when the 71 year old announced his retirement after many years in charge of the soccer team from 1986 to 2013.

The Scotsman announced his news at the end of the 2012-13 season. Supporters were so used to him managing the Manchester United football shirts. Many described his retirement as 'the end of an era' and many labelled him as irreplaceable, this may just be true after the start of the 13-14 season.

The team just do not seem to have the momentum and skill that they showed last season. It was early May when David Moyes was unveiled as the new manager of Manchester United, holding up the Manchester United home football top. Many people suspected him, online betting companies had the highest number of bets on the former Everton manager who had managed the Everton soccer jersey for many years.

The Scotsman was known for his nice attitude his ways of bringing in cheaper players and turning them in to great players, now worth a lot more money. Take Leighton Baines and Fellaini for example. Of course Fellaini has now moved with his manager David Moyes and is now an official red devil, playing in the Manchester United home football top.

However successful Moyes was at Everton, many may think that the United job may just be too much for him, fans are now becoming irritated and are annoyed with Moyes's choice of starting line up and the formation he is currently using. Shinji Kagawa is the name that keeps appearing in most complaints, the fans want to see him in the United soccer jersey again.

So far the team have won two games, lost two and drawn one in the Premier League. This is very unusual for United who are usually winning most games by now. One of the main problems comes down to squad choice in my opinion, even after bad results the same players are being chosen to play in the Manchester United football shirts.

Moyes seems to be choosing more or less the same players each game, RVP and Rooney just behind, Fellaini, Carrick, Young, Valencia, Vidic, Ferdinand, Smalling, Evra and De Gea in goal. England midfielder Tom Cleverly who wears the number 11 jersey sometimes makes an appearance over any other sub but he has disappointed many football fans also.

To get the boys going again and giving their all in their Manchester United football shirts he must take a chance on some of the other players and stop giving the same players chance after chance. The Manchester derby on the 22nd September 2013 will be a day that Moyes would like to forget after United lost 4-1 to Manchester City.

The team played awful apart from Rooney, none of the players seemed as if they were even there. They gave away silly chances and City just took advantage of this and after the second goal they seemed to just boss the whole match. Manchester City got their first goal in the 16th minute, United could not seem to equalise and then the blues grabbed another goal in the 45th minute leaving Unitd 2-0 behind before the break.

After the break City then scored again in the 47th minute making Moyes and team in to a laughing stock. Samir Nasri then topped it off for City and scored the fourth, the Manchester United football shirts just seemed to have disappeared from defence and City just wanted more and more goals. Rooney managed a consolation goal in the 87th minute from a set piece which he converted well.

He really needs to get fans back on side and start winning some games, including the big ones and the derbies. United have a big game coming up against Liverpool in the Capital One Cup 3rd Round. The red devils class Liverpool as their 'biggest derby rivals' even though you would think it was Manchester City. They will need to win this soccer game to stop the doubts from fans.

Hopefully on Wednesday night he re-arranges the squad and maybe brings on Kagawa who is a great creative midfielder who can supply RVP and Rooney with great through balls. This may help the team to score the goals they so desperately need.
