Juventus have entered the top 10 for the first time in the 2015 2016 Serie A competition, following a 2-1 win against Torino on Halloween. The game marked a fine moment for the Zebras and showed that they
have come a long way since the back-to-back losses (and the 17th-place berth) that started their season. However, Juve has still only won five of their 12 fixtures so far, a fact that will likely keep the football club from contending for a fifth consecutive Serie A title.

Juve's collapse has been tragedy for some soccer fans, but an opportunity for many others. With Italy's most dominant football club seemingly out of the running for the 2015/16 Serie A title, there has been considerable excitement at the top of the table. But which team will ultimately be triumphant? The recent runners-up from AS Roma? The comeback kings from Inter Milan? The current leaders, Fiorentina? Or the consummate hard-workers over at Napoli? Indeed Napoli contend for the 2015/16 Serie A top spot but can they continue their work-rate throughout the season?

Napoli's Roller Coaster Season

Napoli especially has had an interesting season so far. Like with Juventus, things started rather badly for the Little Donkeys, first with a 1-2 away loss against Sassuolo and then with back-to-back draws against Sampdoria and Empoli. With a resounding 5-0 win against Lazio in week four, though, Napoli seemed to find their way, jumping from 14th to 11th. They've since climbed all the way up to fourth place, thanks largely to the five-game winning streak they enjoyed throughout October.

Right now, Napoli is up there with Internazionale as the least beaten team in the 2015 2016 Serie A. Both soccer clubs have only lost one match apiece. Inter Milan have the slightly better record at the moment (eight wins and three draws, versus Napoli's seven wins and four draws), but only two points separate them on the standings table.

A Strong Offense-Defense Balance

What will help Napoli claim the top spot on the 2015 2016 Serie A table-if they can formulate another
winning streak, particularly-is their goal difference. Right now, Napoli has one of the best GD on the table, with +14. Roma also has a +14 while Internazionale is sitting at +5, Fiorentina is out in front with +15.

As that number shows, the Little Donkeys have been very consistent this season, both from offensive and defensive perspectives. The football club has tallied 22 goals in 12 fixtures while only allowing eight. Roma and Fiorentina have scored more (27 and 24 goals, respectively) while Inter has allowed fewer (twelve), but Napoli's stats are impressive nonetheless.

A Surprise Star

Higuain was the Serie A's fourth most dependable scorer last season, netting 18 goals in league play. In other words, it's not surprising that he's leading Napoli this year, too. Insigne, though, is a surprise. In 20 league appearances last season, Insigne only scored two goals. In 2013 2014, he only netted three, despite playing in 36 of his club's 38 Serie A fixtures.

This season, though, with Napoli's other top 2014 2015 forwards underperforming, Insigne has stepped up to keep the Little Donkeys in the running for the top spot. Indeed, last season, Napoli had great scorers in the form of Manolo Gabbiadini (15 goals), Jose Maria Callejon (11), and Marek Hamsik (seven). So far in the 2015 2016 campaign, those three players have netted two goals total in league play. If they were to start putting up numbers similar to last season's, then Napoli could easily take the lead in the Serie A.
