The first images of the kit were released by the club and kit manufacturers Nike early July, one of the first pictures featured the Emirates stadium covered in pictures of some of the Arsenal squad wearing the new kit. In front of the stadium were the players standing in a line in the new football strip, these were all British players and included a few of the best Arsenal players including Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The brand new Arsenal Away Football Shirt comes in a bright yellow colour with blue details which is a similar design to other shirt released in the past. Some of the club's best footballing days were seen when the club were playing in yellow, the 2003/04 league went fantastically with the team going the whole campaign without loosing a game. This was back in the day when the squad consisted of French playmaker Thierry Henry. These were very successful days for the club who have struggled over the last few years to reach further than fourth place, this must be quite hard for the fans who were used to the club's success during the days when Henry played number 14 in the Arsenal home shirt.

This new Arsenal Away kit release is going to be the last one we see manufactured by Nike as it will be sports brand Puma taking over from them next year, they will be designing the Arsenal away football shirt 2014/15. The Arsenal home kit was released in 2012 but was labelled a 12/14 shirt, so the home design was not going to be renewed in 2013 like the away style. The new deal with Puma is rumoured to be a good deal for the club, bringing them in around £30 million pound per year. The new Arsenal away football shirt features a blue collar with a yellow line of each side, there are two additional buttons underneath giving the jersey a great touch.

Another nice feature on the Arsenal away shirt are the blue trims at the ends of the sleeves, there is a yellow line inside these following the design of the collar which has the same pattern. Nike have integrated the fantastic Dri Fit technology which pulls sweat away from the body leaving the player feeling cool, dry and comfortable. However we must have faith in Puma as we have seen them release some amazing designs, Borussia Dortmund for example have one of the best looking shirts in International football and this has been designed by Puma. We will soon see the outcome of next years kit as after this season they will be unveiling their own design for the fans to see.

To be more successful this year Arsenal need to be doing all they can to attract some big names to the club, Arsene Wenger has already made a bid of £40 million for Luis Suarez which was rejected immediately by Liverpool. The fans and even squad members have reiterated the fact that new names need to be signing for the team during this years summer transfer window. So far Wenger has made no big signings and has only made four small signings, these include young Dan Crowley a midfielder from Aston Villa, Yaya Sanogo a forward from French Ligue 1, Julio Selva a defender from Barcelona and one more forward. However the boss must start bidding for the big names after loosing out on Gonzalo Higuian and Suarez, unless Liverpool give up and sell their star striker to their Premier League rivals. Do you think Suarez would look good in the new Arsenal away shirt?
