The Olympians definitely hit the low point of their season this past Sunday, when a loss against Bordeaux's Girondins forced them into fourth place. Lyon, meanwhile, is right behind at 61 points. Lyonnais also has a better goal difference rating than Paris Saint Germain (+35 versus +28), meaning that things could easily get very interesting at the top of the football league table in the coming weeks.
With their loss this past weekend, Olympique Marseille falls to fourth place. Their season record-of 17 wins, six draws, and nine losses-is good for a point total of 57 and a goal difference of +27. So while Olympique's losses these past two weeks may have been a drag for fans in the Marseille away shirt 2014 2015, the football club is still very much in the running for a 2014 2015 league title. Even with just six weeks of play left on the schedule, five points is not a huge deficit to make up.
