At Soccer Box, we love a new soccer superstar! That's why we've got the Gareth Bale shirt prominently displayed in our shop. The Welsh wizard became a star of the EPL and this season joined the most famous club in world football. Real Madrid's number 11 could soon be the best in the world.

Adidas made the Real Madrid jersey with the classic three stripes and elegant all-white strip. Bringing the two giants of football together has produced some amazing shirts and full kits. This season is no different, with a blue away strip and orange 3rd kit providing the full set.

Gareth Bale comes from a hard working background in South Wales. His heroes in the world of soccer were close to home. Ryan Giggs was an immediate inspiration, as was the great John Charles. Charles was a Welsh legend who played for Juventus in the 1950s and is still regarded as one of the greatest ever imports to Italy.

Joining the Southampton academy at a young age, Bale was promoted to the first team quite quickly. He even made his international debut for Wales in 2006 when he was only 16. He held the record for the youngest ever Welsh football international until 2013. Welsh fans quickly took to Bale, and a Gareth Bale shirt was a common sight.

He was so impressive in the Southampton first team that Spurs took a chance and signed Bale as a teenager. It wasn't to be rosy for the first couple of seasons, however. Through a strange combination of injuries and bad luck, Bale did not feature in a winning Spurs team for over 20 matches.

When Bale did finally find success at Spurs, he was unstoppable. After coming through the ranks as a left back, Bale moved further up the pitch as he got older. As a Spurs player he was a left winger that terrorized the best teams in their solitary Champions League season.

The matches against Internazionale of Italy brought Bale to the attention of world football. He scored a scintillating hat-trick at the San Siro stadium, beating the right back, Maicon, for pace time and time again. He carried that form into the EPL, getting better each season until an amazing run last year.

Under Andre Villas Boas' management last season Gareth Bale proved his credentials as one of the brightest talents in world soccer. Spurs finished with their highest ever points tally in the EPL standings, and was very unlucky to finish outside of qualification for the Champions League. Bale just kept scoring and creating goals.

The Real Madrid jersey carries a certain weight of expectation. While playing for Spurs, Bale was the main man for three seasons. Everything good came from him, and he carried the team in many respects. At Real Madrid, he is one of many stars on the roster, with the biggest of all on the opposite wing.

Gareth Bale has modeled his progression on the journey Cristiano Ronaldo has taken. He has a strength and direct nature of play that is similar to the Portuguese football player, and together they are starting to run riot. In Spain and in Europe, Real Madrid is thrashing teams left, right and center.

Despite a tough start to his career in Spain, Bale has started to show how good he can be in La Liga. He has scored 10 goals in 18 games - not a bad statistic considering how much of the season has been spent in the treatment room.

It is scary to think how good Gareth Bale will be next season for Real Madrid. This season he did not have a pre-season to adapt to his new surroundings and gain fitness.
