As one of the most popular teams in the world, and probably one of the most loved teams in international football it is no wonder so many football fans around the world have been dying to see the unveil of the brand new Real Madrid kit 2013-14. The much awaited kit releases come in-between the season ending and the new season starting, fans enjoy looking at their favourite teams kits, this can be an exciting time for fans.
The Real Madrid 13-14 home kit was the first to be revealed in June and was one of the earlier kits to be released alongside the ever popular Barcelona and some Premier League strips. The home kit turned out to be a big hit with some fans, probably the majority but not all, some fans were not so impressed with the design, as i found on shirt review websites.
When the new home kit was revealed it seemed to have had a complete make-over. The Fly Emirates sponsor was a new addition to the kits. This appears on the kit in black print, underneath the embroidered club badge and grey Adidas logo. That was another big change Adidas made to the home kit; the Adidas three stripes were now grey rather than black.
One of the most controversial points about the shirt though comes down to the bright orange details in some areas. This can be seen as a trim around the collar area, sleeves and down the sides of the shirt. Many fans did not like this but in my opinion this looks fantastic on the jersey and adds some real class.
Just recently the brand new Real Madrid Away Football Jersey 2013-14 was released and added as part of the new Real Madrid kit. This new design from Adidas is absolutely class and there is no other shirt on the market like this at the minute. This is not because of the details and designs on the shirt but because of the material itself.
If you were to research this shirt and saw a picture you would probably be expecting the same type of polyester that is used on most shirts, but with this jersey is feels very different to other designs. This is because 'melange' fabric has been used with a small amount of polyester to create a very nice cotton finish, very much like a simple soft t-shirt item.
The inspiration to use this type of material came from an idea to try and mimic some shirts from the early 30's, 40's and 50's and create a retro look. The actual design of the new The Real Madrid away football jersey is very nice indeed and taking this risk has definitely paid off for Adidas who seem to have put a great amount of effort in to design this away jersey.
As for the colour of the Real Madrid away football jersey, Adidas have used a royal blue colour continuing the style of the old shirts from golden years; they have also added other colours in such as white and the very vibrant orange, creating a modern look.
This is great as it mixes old with new creating this brilliant shirt packed full of great features. Adidas have manufactured this shirt using their great Climacool technology, this works by pulling unwanted moisture away from the body leaving you feeling dry, cool, comfortable and fresh.
The new Real Madrid Away football jersey has gone down well with most of the Real Madrid fans so we expect shirt sales to fly once supporters have started to see their favourite players wearing them at the start of the 2013-14 seasons. With the club's star player Christiano Ronaldo expected to stay at the club after playing down any chance of a move away we will be expecting to see much more Ronaldo printed Real Madrid Kit.
What do you think of the new Real Madrid away football jersey? Do you like the new material used by Adidas, will you be trying out the new shirt?
