FC Barcelona were just about perfect in the 2014 2015 UEFA Champions League. After winning five of their six group stage matches (they lost one, to Paris Saint Germain), Barca went on to easily edge out each of the football clubs they played in the knockouts. From their round of 16 triumph over Manchester City, to their 5-1 revenge against PSG in the quarters, all the way to their expert takedown of Bayern Munich in the semis, it was clear Barcelona were the frontrunners to win the tournament. By the time Barca were beating Juventus 3-1 to take the trophy, their victory felt like it had been a long-foregone conclusion. Now it is the beginning of the 2015 - 2016 season and Barcelona kick off UCL defense with an away game at AS Roma.
Because of their glorious run in last year's Champions League, Barcelona were the strong favorites to win their first match of this year's tournament. The game, played against AS Roma on Wednesday, September 16th, was the first step in Barca's - August 24, 2015
Ever since the Serie A schedules were announced for the 2015 2016 season, Italian football fans have been looking forward to the second to last weekend of August for the league's big opening weekend. But while the idea of Italian football starting up again has certainly been something to look forward to, at Soccer Box, we're actually more excited for week two than for week one, thanks solely to the Roma V Juventus 2015 fixture that is on the schedule for Sunday, August 30th.
Indeed, the week two battle is like the clash of the titans for the current Italian football scene, a duel between last year's top Serie A finisher and runner-up. And while conventional wisdom would put Juventus as the favorite heading into the match, the fact is that the game could end up being a good deal closer and more competitive than many might think. - July 19, 2015
Barcelona had a banner season in 2014 2015, winning the treble of the Spanish La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League, and providing plenty of thrilling offensive maneuvers along the way. Needless to say, fans are eager to see Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, and the rest of the Barca squad reunite for the start of the 2015 2016 season, and the good news is they won't have to wait much longer. While the La Liga season won't start until Saturday, August 23rd, Barca supporters will only have to wait until Wednesday, August 5th to see their beloved soccer team on the pitch at Camp Nou once more. They will face AS Roma in the Joan Gamper Cup.

The 2014 2015 season was a strong one for AS Roma, ending in a second-place finish in the Italian Serie A. It was the football club's sixth runner-up finish in the Italian top flight in the past decade. Yet
despite the fact that the Wolves consistently crop up near the top of the Serie A table, they haven't actually won an Italian football championship since 2001. The team looks to change that fact during the 2015/16 season, and they've launched a brand new AS Roma home kit 2015 - 2016 to mark the start of their next chapter.
The AS Roma home jersey 2015 2016-unveiled in early June by Roma and their kit manufacturers, Nike-boasts a slightly modernized redesign of last year's home shirt. The jersey retains the maroon color and golden trim of the 2014 2015 home kit. However, the design is updated this time - June 01, 2015
Both AS Roma and Juventus have spent the majority of the 2014 2015 season at or near the top of Italy's Serie A division. But the closeness these teams have on the standings table contrasts directly with their real-life relationship, the AS Roma versus Juventus football rivalry is as ferociously sour as any rivalry in Italian soccer. Sure, the derbies between AC Milan and Inter Milan generally attract more attention due to their "crosstown rivalry" status, while Roma's rivalry with Lazio is also one of the biggest in the world. However, when it comes to controversy, animosity, and downright dislike, few teams are enemies in the way that Juventus and Roma are.
So why do Roma's Wolves tend to despise Juve's Zebras with such vitriol? Why is a fan in the AS Roma away jersey 2014 2015 almost predisposed to not see eye to eye with a fan in the Juventus home jersey? Like most rivalries in world football, the cause of the ongoing war between these two soccer teams started many years ago, - May 14, 2015

After finishing in second place in the 2013 2014 Italian Serie A, behind only Juventus, AS Roma earned the right to compete in the 2014 2015 Champions League. Unfortunately for fans of the team, the Wolves were drawn into one of the most difficult groups in the entire tournament. They were facing
off against Manchester City and Bayern Munich for a chance to progress, and at the end of the day, Roma ended up being the football team edged out of the contest. The good news is that the team is now competing in this year's UEFA Europa League competition, and you can root for them today with a new Roma soccer jersey from Soccer Box!

When AS Roma was matched up against Empoli for the Coppa Italia 2014 2015 round of 16, it looked as if the odds were definitely in favor of the Wolves. After all, AS Roma is the reigning runner-up in
Italy's top Serie A division, while Empoli was just promoted into the league this season. Furthermore, Rome has historically had the advantage when the two teams have gone head-to-head, and Empoli hasn't beaten AS since 2007! For all these reasons and more, fans in the Roma jersey felt pretty good about their soccer team's chances of reaching the quarterfinals of the prestigious Italian Cup.
But even with the round of 16 fixture taking place at Roma's home ground, Stadio Olimpico, the Empoli Blues put up more of a fight than was expected. The Wolves did clinch a slot in the next stage of the Coppa Italia,
