Tottenham Hotspur has not won an English championship football title since the early 1960s, but that hardly means that the team has fallen into an era of underperforming mediocrity. On the contrary, Spurs ended the 2014 2015 season in sixth place on the Premier League division standings, with a record of 21 wins, 6 draws, and 11 losses. The team is hoping to match or improve upon that performance this season, and you can support the campaign to do so by picking up a new Spurs training kit at Soccer Box!

Indeed, Soccer Box has a range of Spurs training kit available. One of our favorite Tottenham training kits is the Tottenham Hotspur navy training jersey 2014 2015. A flashy navy blue jersey with striking yellow trim, this beautiful Under Armour training shirt looks as good as most teams' regular home jerseys!

A Mixed Season

Thus far in the 2014 2015 Premier League season, it's evident that Tottenham could use some additional support. The team's performance this year has been a bit of a mixed bag, consisting of roaring victories, disappointing losses, and lukewarm draws.

The season started out on a high note. In the first match of the season, Tottenham defeated West Ham United 1-0. An away match, the West Ham fixture showed that this year's Tottenham squad could not only win games but could also win them without the loud support of home crowds.

Queens Park Match

This is not to say that home crowds don't help the Spurs toward stronger performances. The team's second match of the season was also the first Premier League fixture played at White Hart Lane since May. Needless to say, Spurs fans were out in force, whether in the 2014 2015 Tottenham home shirt or wearing the Tottenham Hotspur navy training jersey 2014 2015.

The highest hopes of those fans were realized over the course of the match, which pitted Spurs against Queens Park Rangers. Recently promoted to the Premier League from the 2013 2014 Football League Championship, Queens Park Rangers were simply no match for Tottenham-a fact that was proven by the final score of 4-0.

In the first half alone, Tottenham scored three unanswered goals. Winger Nacer Chadli provided a brace to lead his team into a dominant position. Chadli arrived at Tottenham last year, as a transfer from Twente - a club in the Dutch Eredivisie. Considering the fact that the Belgian footballer only scored four goals in the entire 2013 2014 season, his pair of points in the Queens Park Rangers match was a notable surprise.

Chadli's two goals were not the only surprises on display during the Queens Park Rangers match. Eric Dier, an English defender who transferred to Tottenham (from Sporting CP) just this season, provided a goal of his own. In two seasons with Sporting CP, Dier only ever scored one goal.

Spurs Vice Captain and forward Emmanuel Adebayor scored the final goal of the match, putting Spurs up 4-0 for the ultimate winning tally. The win even placed Tottenham near the top of the Premier League table, temporarily allowing the team to enjoy undefeated status and a great goal difference statistic. It looked like a strong year was brewing for the Spurs training kit.

Subsequent Fixtures

Unfortunately, the Tottenham Hotspur navy training jersey 2014 2015 has not looked quite so untouchable since. A crushing 3-0 defeat against Liverpool (and at home, no less) was disheartening for Spurs players and fans alike, but at least it was somewhat expected. Liverpool nearly won the Premier League last season and was always going to be a tough opponent for Spurs to face so early in the season.

A more recent loss against West Bromwich Albion gave fans more cause for concern. West Brom finished in 17th place on last year's division standings, very narrowly avoiding relegation. A loss to such an inferior team suggests that Spurs has lost nearly all of the momentum they were showing in the early season.

A pair of draws against Sunderland and Arsenal are slightly more promising-particularly for Chadli, who scored a goal in each. However, if Tottenham is going to improve upon last year's Premier League placement, the team is going to need to start winning matches again.

To win matches, of course, the Spurs will need lots of fan support! Show your fan support today by visiting Soccer Box and picking up a Spurs training kit or home jersey.
