regular_Newcastle United Away ShirtEverything is looking positive for Newcastle United at the moment, first it was the news of Arsenal's 4-1 win over 18th place Wigan on Tuesday, which secured the Magpies a definitive place in the Premier League next season and today the release of their brand new Newcastle United away shirt 2013/14. The new shirt is now available for purchase from most sports retailers. The price of the Newcastle United Away Shirt comes in at around £44.99 for adult sizes and £39.99 upwards for the kid's away shirt. We are unsure about the sales of the new Newcastle kits this season, the Magpies have not played their best this season and have come away with only 41 points with a goal difference of -22 with one game left to play and that is against the Gunners, Arsenal. This is a shock for the Toon fans as Newcastle finished in fifth place last season and qualified for the UEFA Europa League. The majority of Newcastle United fans have supported their team and manager Alan Pardew, but some fans have been a lot less supportive during Newcastle's disappointing season.

During the 12/13 season Pardew sealed deals on new players, he made six new signings in January and the club were named the busiest Premier League club during the January transfer window. Five of the six signings were all French players and Pardew was often criticised by the press and fans for this decision. Media stories about rifts and divides between French and English players in the dressing room and on the pitch surfaced but the Magpies manager replied to allegations and totally ruled them out. He stated "As far as I'm concerned the group is very much together, pulling together. The fact we have a lot of French players and some language difficulties has been kind of torn up and made to be something else. There is no problem and we go to the next game. There have not been words out of turn." Newcastle have played around 19 times in their Newcastle United Away Shirt during the 2012/13 season, the 12/13 away shirt was popular with the Newcastle fans. It was a burgundy type colour with black details; it has a very stylish and modern look to it.

Toon fans have been asked their opinions on the new Newcastle United Away Shirt and the outcome is very much divided. Some people said that they thought the new shirt looked more like a training top, whilst some said that they loved the style. Quite a few people said that they loved the style of the away shirt but hated the Wonga shirt sponsor. Puma have been United's kit manufacturers since the 2010-11 season when they took over from Adidas. The first home shirt that Puma designed was great, they took a bold approach to their kit styling with the black and white stripes, unlike some of the previous designs made by other manufacturers. The new Newcastle United away shirt is navy blue in colour with very light blue details in parts. The shirt sponsor Wonga sits in the centre of the shirt in light blue text and the Newcastle crest is just above. There is a Puma logo on the right side of the shirt and the light blue trims around the edge of each sleeve add a nice finishing touch.
