Another great football season is drawing to and end and some surprising clubs are sitting at the bottom of the table in danger of relegation. Newcastle happen to be one of these. The magpies have been known to play some good football, last season they finished fifth in the Premier league and managed to qualify for a Europa League place. They were only four points behind Tottenham Hotspur who finished forth qualifying for that precious Champion's League spot. In the 2011-12 season Newcaslte United only lost 11 games throughout the season but in this season's 2012-13 they have lost 18 games. This season Newcastlte boss Alan Pardew has bought in some new signings, many of them first put on their Newcastle United kit in January. French player Moussa Sissoko was signed along with Massadio Haidara the French Under 21 also joined him. There were also four more French player's to join the Toon in January. The media had plenty to say about Pardew's continuous French signings but the 51 year old backed his decision and told the media his new signings would be successful.

Alan Pardew has been Newcastle United's manager since 2010 when he moved from Southampton and took charge of the Newcastle United kit. He has seen the squad go from having an amazing season finishing fifth last year to being in danger of relegation this year. Newcastle currently sit 17th just above the relegation zone with only 37 points and -27 goal difference. Wigan Athletic sit just underneath them with 32 points, so Newcastle United could well go down if Wigan can avoid the drop.regular_2012newcastleboyshomekit Other Premier League teams such as Aston Villa and Sunderland who sit above Newcastle by one point could also be in trouble. The Newcastle squad must pull on their Newcastle United Kit on this Saturday and play their best, their next fixture is an away game at West Ham United.

Newcastle's season was just topped off last week when they were thrashed 6-0 by a fantastic Liverpool side which was not helped when Aston Villa beat Sunderland 6-1 to boost there goal difference and put them ahead of Newcastle. Newcastle defender Steven Taylor commented after the match and said the defeat was just like a 'family death'. There have also been reports of a rift in the dressing room of Newcastle. After Liverpool's 6-0 win, reports suggesting that there are arguments between players and the manager leaked but player's Cisse and Toite have ruled that out completely. The French signings also came up in the reports with people questioning Pardew's signing tactics.

He backed himself up again though replying that it is not the fact of their nationality it is their inexperience getting the better of them. He finished by saying he is sure that they can get them the points they need. After Newcastle play West Ham United on Saturday in their Newcastle United Kit they have a fixture against Queens Park Rangers and then a tough battle as they face Arsenal. Manager Pardew spoke after the 6-0 defeat and said he will be looking to be making some changes for tomorrow's match against West Ham United, the 51 year old said he would most likely add some experience in to the side. St James' Park has been packed throughout the season with the fans still following their team during their bad season. If Newcastle can really pull together for their last three games of the season and pick up some points they should survive the drop. Lets just hope the players and manager can pull their socks up and enjoy the last few games and we get some great goals from the newest signings.
