Taking its inspiration from the jersey worn in the 70s, this season’s Ajax home shirt features a thinner than normal red stripe down the centre with white and red accents. Printed in the centre of the chest in white is the club’s sponsor who has seen a reduction in size to fit inside the smaller red banding. Woven above this to the right is the Adidas badge in red and their signature three stripes are across the shoulders in grey. Stitched to the left of the chest, the Ajax crest has been applied in a retro style which has not been used on the jerseys since the 90s.
