Following a decision by Bayern Munich to ban all colours apart from the signature red and white in their home kit, this 20/21 home jersey is primarily red with minimalist white trim. The v-shaped and neckline and sleeve cuffs include modern white piping; Adidas stripes on the flanks and logo on the chest are also white. On the front of the shirt there is also an embroidered FC Bayern crest, flanked by four gold coloured stars, as well as a heat-applied T-Mobile sponsor logo.
Subtly enhancing the design of this 2020/21 edition of the Bayern Munich home jersey is an all-over graphic pattern; this forms a jacquard design made up of tiny dots. On the back of the football shirt just below the collar in small cursive is the text ‘mia san mia’; this is the motto of the club, which translates to ‘we are who we are’. In larger text below, is the text ‘FC Bayern Munchen’ printed in a slight curve.
