History of the the red home kit

When the club was founded in 1900 the clubs official colour scheme was recorded as white and blue. Below is a brief rundown of the colours worn and between what time-periods:

• 1900-1905 – white and blue
• 1905-1968 – white shirts with red shorts
• 1968-1969 – red & blue stripe jersey, blue shorts and socks
• 1969-1973 – red and white stripe shirt
• 1973-1974 – all-white strip with single red and blue vertical stripe
• 1974-1995 – red shirt, shorts and socks with white trim
• 1995-1997 – red and blue stripe jersey
• 1997-1999 – blue home kit with red hoop on the shirt
• 1999-2003 – red jersey with navy blue sleeves
• 2002-2014 – red shirt with white details, including several red & white stripe jerseys
• 2014-2015 – red and blue vertical stripe design
• 2015-present – red shirt with white accents

FC Bayern Home Football Stadium

The iconic home of every football club is their stadium. Since 2005 Bayern have hosted home matches at the Allianz Arena, which is a purpose-built football ground with a maximum capacity of 75,000 supporters. After its initial construction the Allianz Arena had a capacity of 66,000 seated spectators, however, due to ever increasing demand the site has undergone several renovations adding the additional capacity that is available today.
