This is the AS Roma Kids (Boys Youth) Home Jersey 2015 - 2016. This bold new shirt designed by Nike represents centuries of history embedded within Rome, the Italian capital city. Recent seasons have seen a maturing and growth of the Roma football team, as they have consistently challenged at the top of the Serie A table, they finished 2nd in the 2014/15 season. The 2015 - 2016 kit embodies that development into a strong, coordinated squad.

The design of the 2015 - 2016 AS Roma home shirt has been inspired by history, specifically the armor worn by Roman soldiers. Kids and adults are sure to be interested and inspired by this fact. The unique notch neck in the collar is the same neckline style that featured in the armor worn over 2,000 years ago.

The Roma home kit has retained its traditional color scheme of red with yellow accents. The main body of the shirt is red, the shoulder and sleeve panels have been designed in a deeper shade of red. Nike has stated that the tonal effect is to make the players appear more imposing on the football pitch.

Yellow trim around the back of the collar, sleeves and down the sides of the shirt perfectly compliment and complete the design. The Nike Swoosh logo is embroidered onto the left side of the chest, the AS Roma crest sits opposite. Once again this season the clubs football shirt does not feature a sponsor.
