Last season saw FC Barcelona surpassed by Real Madrid, their usual rivals, and Atletico Madrid. The lesser sire of Madrid have gone from strength to strength under Diego Simeone, winning the double of the La Liga trophy and the Copa del Rey, and only narrowly missing out on the UEFA Champions League trophy too. While the Madrid teams pulled in all the cups, Barcelona were left to ponder what had gone wrong this season. The Barcelona goalkeeper football shorts are a bright aqua blue to standout and distract opposition forwards as they bear down on goal. Sports psychologists believe certain shades of color help interrupt a striker’s focus and line of sight, and, while a lot of teams don’t bother with this, other clubs have shown success so it’s no surprise that Barcelona are giving it a go.
The adults football shorts feature a stitched yellow Nike Swoosh logo and the Barcelona club crest on the front. They have an elastic waistband to stretch to fit and sit snug around the waist without discomfort, and drawstrings to tie them to a set size.
The goalkeeper shorts are made by Nike from 100% polyester, just like all their other great football kits. The advantage of this is that polyester is a lightweight material, so it won’t be a burden. It’s also highly durable against wear and tear, so in the case of a goalkeeper it will stand the test of diving saves and brave one on one challenges. For that extra bit of ease you can machine wash these shorts safely.
Nike also manufacturers these goalkeeper football shorts to contain their own patented Dri-FIT sweat wicking science. This technology works to draw perspiration away from the body and into the fabric of the shorts. Once there it is forced outwards so it can evaporate, leaving you cool and dry. A mesh fabric section beneath the back of the waist is a part of this process, boosting air circulation.

Where there is the option to personalise your shirt with a name and number and/or patches we aim to dispatch in the same time-frame as non-personalised jerseys meaning that there will not be a delay in receiving your order. Orders placed before 2pm with Next Day or express shipping options will be dispatched the same day.
