Belgian Football Centre

Domestic practice sessions for the Belgian national team have taken place at the Belgian Football Centre since 2016. The Belgian Football Centre is a purpose-built facility located south of Brussels. The centre houses youth and women’s teams as well as being used by local grassroots clubs and being the sport and technical headquarters of the Royal Belgium FA, Belgian Second Amateur Division (ACFF) and Voetbal Vlaanderen.

Covering 13 hectares The Belgian Football Centre has an array of facilities including:

• 3 grass football pitches
• 3 synthetic pitches
• Beach and street football courts
• 12 professional locker/changing rooms
• Professional offices
• On-site hotel with fitness room, wellness centre and tennis courts

Further developments are planned for the site, including the building of a 3000-seat grandstand and a home for the Belgian Cycling Federation. In addition, there are bold plans to maximise environmentally friendly technologies such as the installation of a rainwater collection tank for watering the grass pitches and a wind turbine for generating the sites electricity.
